The worst company ever!
The worst company ever!
I’d there was a possibility of Zero stars, it would be my rating!
I ordered the washing mashine and the fridge on the 1st of Feb, hoping they will deliver my items in 1-2 working days ( as it was mentioned ). After 10 days they are telling me that my delivery will come only on the 15th because I ordered a bigger size appliances with the installation. So they basically are asking me to wait 15 days because the installation company has no availability till the 15th same as the delivery company that delivers their big orders to the customers.
It is a joke and will never recommend this crap service.
Avoid it!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We are sorry that you have not experienced the service you wanted, but we do feel that your review does not reflect the level of service and assistance we have provided.
As mentioned across our website large appliance delivery is 4-6 working days. We value your feedback and would like to address the issue of the incorrect delivery time being mentioned elsewhere. We have not been able to find any mention of a 1-2 day delivery service for large appliances and we would really appreciate if you could reply to our previous emails with a quick screenshot or description of where you found it. We want to get it updated to make sure there is no confusion in the future.
Otherwise everything so far has been within our delivery timeframes. Your order was placed after our cut-off time on Thursday so was dispatched Friday and delivered to our installation partners the following Friday.
Unfortunately our installation partners are currently working through a backlog that means yours will be performed a couple of days later than usual. We do apologise for this and hope that the compensation we have previously offered can partially offset this inconvenience.

Super fast from order to delivery - 2 days - beat that!
Placed an order on a Wednesday 10th January 2024 for two 11" Xiaomi tablets. They were delivered on Friday morning 12th Jauary 2024 to Dublin - that's an excellent service by any means. Delighted with the tablets, gret quality and very good value. The little bar of chocolate was a nice touch too!

Very DISAPPOINTED 65 LG TV for 900 euro on 6…
I bought a 65inch LG TV for 900 euro on 6 January 2024 I was assured that all the apps worked by the sales person which they did on the display model .however when I got the one home that I was given in the box .some of the apps didn't work they were on the TV but wouldn't work when I complaned the supervisor told me there nothing he could do ofcorse the sales man that sold me the TV wasn't AVAILABLE. I was told because the apps was not on the chip inside the TV . NOTHING COULD BE DONE And I was fobed off .LET the BUYER BEWARE.they changed the name of the store recently from KELLY And DOLlARD to ELECTRO CITY YOUD WONDER WHY.there ph .number is 051 8700077.REMBER BE CAREFUL OF this STORE.IN WATERFORD I AM A VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER BUT NEVER AGAIN PLEASE BE CARFUL AND NOT DISAPPOINTED LIKE ME.......LIAM Waterford CITY.

TEN DAYS WITHOUT HOT FOOD
Not a great experience....NOW TEN DAYS without hot food thanks to non delivery. Niot really express nationwide delivery....

I bought a washer/dryer from Electrocity and the first time I used it a burning smell came from it . It doesn't dry the clothes and the door opens sometimes . An engineer called out and he was 2 hours trying to fix it bits of the machine all over the floor not want you'd expect from a new machine. I call to demand my money back but a woman called Mary screamed at me on the phone saying "you're not getting your money back " to say she was rude is an understatement she has no manner to deal with the public. I'm out of pocket now with no washing machine or dryer AVOID THIS PLACE THEY WILL SCAM YOU

It has not yet been delivered
I ordered a Dryer online #334718 on October 24th. I received an email on October 27th informing me that the dryer would be delivered on that day. Unfortunately it was being delivered to the wrong address. I immediately contacted Customer Care about this and received an email on October 28th from Mairead who said she had forwarded this issue to MasterCare who are the installation company. I contacted Mairead again on November 2nd. She told me that Master Care had confirmed that they would contact me in the coming days. I have not heard from them yet. It is now November 6th. This is most frustrating. In the past, I have always found Electrocity to be a great company to deal with. Eimear Burke
