I wish I had seen these trustpilot reviews before purchasing from this business.

I have now been a victim of them as well:
- I purchased an AC unit from them at a very inflated price, in desperate need to protect my son from the heatwave (a context which I even provided them)
- 3 days later I requested a return as the unit power turned out to be insufficient for my home
- 2 days later they confirmed that return, according to their terms and conditions and provided me with a return link
- I then realized the return link they provided me doesn't work. They then offered to arrange a collection
- over the next month, I had to contact them on 4 different occasions to inform them that the packaging never arrived. Every single time, they offered to resend it and confirmed it was sent.

The packaging necessary to unblock the return I'm entitled to per their terms and services and that they have explicitly agreed to in writing has not arrived to this day. They are therefore effectively blocking the return I'm entitled to by stalling for a month and a half (and counting), and withholding the mandatory means to dispatch it.

This does not seem to be a serious or trustworthy business. Beware.

Annoyingly useless Electric Mania, we received an electric hob 10 months ago which has broken. It was the same issue with the previous hob. They're refusing to replace it as they say they don't replace replacements.
We won't bother buying from them again.

Avoid this seller (Electric Mania). I returned an appliance because it was faulty and they decided to penalise me with a partial refund. They then claimed that I was returning it because it was unwanted. It wasn't until I provided them and B&Q with a picture of the physical return letter I sent with the package stating I'm returning this because it is faulty and unfit for purpose that they decided to backpedal and give me my full refund. A massive warning to anyone buying from them: take a picture and video of the item you receive and your return note stating it is faulty, just in case they try to pull this trick on you.
​They claimed I changed my mind, then that it wasn't faulty and then in the same message thread claimed that the fault would go after some time. Which one was it? If you want to fight to get your money back, then by all means buy from them. But be prepared they will send faulty appliances and then try not to give you your money back.

Terrible Terrible Terrible! Spent 1000 pounds on an air conditioner that arrived broken. Absolutely no way that this would've passed safety checks as the fan was jammed, which meant the machine was overheating when on. I tried customer services numerous times and was treated like crap. Was promised a call back from a manager in 20 minutes which never happened. I had to take the machine apart and fix it myself. For this I have requested compensation/part refund and heard nothing. Disgusted! The machine now works but the hose is nowhere near long enough to put out the window so weve had to put the air con unit up on an ottoman. Its so loud, sounds like a plane taking off. I will never buy from this company again. They're also raising the prices daily on these units which is very unfair. The 7000btu is now priced at 1200 pounds, awful. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

Bought a EMtronics 12K BTU Portable Air Conditioner from Electric Mania. I was a little skeptical it would actually arrive in one day as stated, but it actually did. The aircon worked really well, but if you need to install it into a sliding glass door you'll probably need to buy a third-party vent kit. Still, very good product!

Tesco is the biggest fraud in their Marketplace website under Tesco - all consumers be aware of the Tesco marketplace scam. You order via Tesco website, named as marketplace. They take your money from your CC immediately, then put on a false tracker on your Tesco order stating item delivered, when it is not actually. When you ask for a refund as no good delivered, they tell you it is - a blatant lie. They try to push you to the marketplace seller under the Tesco banner/website, but nothing will happen. Tesco will not return your money - inspite of saying on the Tesco website they wash their hands off. So basically Tesco is stealing your money.

i would give them 0 rating. Beware of them and Tesco has really disappointed me as I purchased an air cooler from Tesco and product was never delivered . Stay away from them.

I received a air cooling unit last Thursday 25th June. I plugged it in and tried to switch it on and nothing happened. I tested the fuse and still nothing. I have asked to return it and get a refund but have had no response to this.

Terrible customer service paid for express delivery to have air con delivered, took over two days to get a response and then it was send email, staff have no customer service skills, still can't find my item, has evri is just has bad, won't to order another one from somewhere else but can't until get refunded, but definitely lack customer service and communication skills .

Avoid avoid avoid ....not interested at all when they have your money . Try to call and enquire, all they said is to send a email . The shipping company they use is evri which is also terrible ...they lost my order , but tried to get a refund was hard work ...then they said my order was delivered and said said collected when I had not even been to pick it up !

If I could give 0 stars I would! They picked up my microwave on 09/06/2026 after a week of not hearing from them called them their phones were down for 3 days! Told by one refund had been issued still waiting called them today refund hadn’t been issued and the person dealing with it is off. They should not be trading worst customer service I have ever received!

Absolutely dismal customer service,
Package was meant to be delivered, however the delivery company they used called Evri never delivered the item, no fault of electric mania, however I asked them to take a new order which I would pay for, as I was desperate for the item yet they would not take a new order from me. I can honestly say one of the worst online shopping experiences I've ever had, completely incompetent online business.

Not realising I was buying from a B and Q verified seller I purchased a 9ltr dual basket air fryer on 5th march. After using it a few times I contacted electric mania on April 10th to explain that one of the baskets was broken and would no longer heat up. They told me I had to raise my complaint through my original B and Q marketplace order. After trying more than once to do this and failing ( I sent a photo to show them it wasn't letting me send this message ) they told me I would need to contact B and Q which I did. After B and Q messaged electric mania they then messaged me to say I would need to take the air fryer to the DPD drop off point. I told them my age and that I had arthritis but they kept telling me DPD couldn't pick up from my home address, even though they have previously.
They sent email after email and kept insisting I take it to the shop which is a DPD drop off. By this time I'd had enough and contacted B and Q marketplace again on wed 15 th of April and explained everything to a customer advisor. She acted immediately. She issued a full refund and told me she was contacting electromania to tell them they had 72 hours to collect the air fryer from MY HOME ADDRESS!!!
Amazingly electric mania emailed me and asked when DPD could pick it up, ( yet they'd argued previously that DPD couldn't pick up from my home ! ) I have a full refund thanks to Mila from B and Q marketplace and this morning the electromania useless air fryer is on the way back to them.
I can't thank B and Q enough.
I wouldn't even have awarded this dreadful company 1 star. They are absolute rubbish and their customer service is beyond terrible!!!

I’m very disappointed with my recent purchase of the Braun iCheck 7 wrist blood pressure monitor. I specifically paid for a brand new item, but what I received was clearly not new.

The box had already been opened, and the product inside showed signs of prior use. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a health-related device where hygiene and reliability are important.

I feel misled, as the item was advertised as new but arrived in a used condition. I would not have purchased it if I had known this beforehand.

I would advise others to be cautious when buying from this seller. I am now seeking a resolution, as this experience has been very frustrating and disappointing.

Purchased an oil filled radiator on 21st march. Delivery date 23rd of March. This item was ordered for a terminally ill man who was being released from hospital whose bedroom radiator had a fault. Item never arrived, contacted them to ask why and explain the situation. They did nothing and tbh couldn't care less. Kept contacting them asking to cancel the order/full refund - they refused. Then in the 1st of April at 05.41 I get an email stating it has been delivered - it wasn't. Emailed again, got an email back saying sorry the item is damaged, we'6 arrange a courier to collect for you want a replacement or a refund. Emailed again stating item was not received. Now they are investigating as courier states it was delivered. They are the most awful company to deal with and the attitude of their staff is beyond abysmal.
AVOID THEM.

Sent a TV unpackaged or bagged. Not signed for as high value item so it was It stolen off doorstep. Courier didn't even knock door. Thankfully purchased through On Buy who cover the item. Birthday ruined as cant afford to replace it . Customer service couldn't care less, upto 14 days to investigate the Courier .We have Cctv in private driveway. Nobody came in or out all day other than the Courier..hmmmm wonder what happened to the TV?? Also was left in the rain ....

We've had our air fryer for over 3 years, and it has just stopped working on one side considering we use it most days and the price we paid it's a bargain.just ordered a new one.

Worst experience give up on my refund I sent the glass halogen oven back straight away 3 months on no refund staff tell me to email I already did never use this company

Poor quality and defective product. At first company ignored my complaints through online retail site. Eventually offered to replace. Customer service is diabolical
