I found the entire trip fantastic!!!! Our tour guide, Inigo, was AMAZING and I had the best time. The ONLY reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the meals at some of the restaurants we had were not very good and we barely ever got any vegetables with our meals. Aside from that, it was the most amazing experience EVER!!!!!!

My daughter had an amazing time on her trip and the students really enjoyed Bart the travel guide!!

The company representatives I worked with were incredible! They spent their time assisting and listening to my needs for the group and were able to meet the majority of my extra asks. The majority of our 47 students spoke very highly of their tour, and lifelong memories were made!

My 15 year old’s 2026 EF Tour included visiting Austria, Germany, Czechia and Switzerland. He loved every minute, learned so much and had an experience of a lifetime. The group leaders were excellent, kept parents well informed and allowed us to effectively prepare for the trip and know what to expect. He and his friends made memories that’ll last forever. Highly recommend!

Our trip to the Mediterranean Coast was fantastic. Our tour director Helio was superb and really enhanced our trip. Our Departure date was 3 days later than we requested which did cause some members of our group some trouble and we had an extra layover that we didn't know about until we were at the airport but outside of those details all of our students and chaperones enjoyed travelling with EF for this trip. We went to Cinque Terre, Monaco, Nice, Arles and Barcelona and every stop gave us that WOW factor!

From London to Amsterdam our tour was top notch. Hotels, restaurants and excursions. Our bus drivers were amazing and everyone loves our TD.

The tour guide, Stelios and the bus driver, Visily, were absolutely phenomenal. Everything was so well planned out. This trip has been on my bucket list for as long as i can remember and the tour did not disappoint. We saw and experienced so much and felt so well taken care of.

Would like to see the hotels be in more central locations. This way the evening experience and culture can be taken in and enjoyed.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the history and culture of the countries that we visited. She made our students feel comfortable and welcome to ask questions as we went along.

We were surprised by the unfortunate flight times our students were given for their trip. The trip was booked significantly in advance (more than a year ahead) of the departure. Their return flight required them to leave their hotel at 1:45 a.m. to travel to their first connecting flight. Upon arrival at that airport, the check in desk wasn’t open for another hour and a half. They had a short first flight followed by a 5 hour scheduled layover. Unfortunately a delayed second flight resulted in an 8 hour wait. We feel a better flight option should have been given to our group, given their advanced booking time (there are so many layover options in Europe). Essentially, the last night in hotel was of little use to the kids (they got a maximum of 1-2 hours of sleep on their last night). This led to exhausted travellers due to EF Tours poorly selected travel arrangements.

The local tour guide, that EF Tours provided for our students, was regularly late during the entire trip, holding our group up often. The guide was also late on the 1:45 a.m. departure morning for the flight home, that’s unacceptable to require students to get up at that exceptionally early time if their local tour guide was not even present.

One day on our students itinerary included a stop at a site that was closed to the public, this site had been closed for several months prior and was not scheduled to reopen until 2027. Our group was not informed of this until the late afternoon of the day before (while they were on the trip). The proposed activity change in itinerary cost 30 extra Euros that had to be paid by the students, while on the trip. This is a significant change and cost. EF tours should have checked the itinerary, prior to departure, to ensure all sites were open. This is an expectation, of a travel agent, prior to travelling, and that step clearly did not happen.

As a parent of a travelling student, I expected more from EF tours. I feel there were several errors in the planning and execution of the trip.

EF Tours is AMAZING!!! The tour guides were so knowledgeable and educational, so experienced and friendly and fun. My daughter had the most incredible and unforgettable experience in both Switzerland and Italy, and would have stayed longer if she could have! Thank you so much for putting so much care and attention to detail into your tours, into these students, into our children. They will carry these memories with them for the rest of their lives. 10/10, highly recommend EF Tours!!

The tours in Italy were very lacking but Switzerland was excellent. The tour guides were great though. The kids only stayed outside the colosseum when the tour should have included a tour inside. The only thing they did in Vatican City was to see St Peter’s square. They didn’t set foot in one of the many many museums or the Sistine Chapel. I do realize that St. Peter’s Basilica was closed to the public that day but the rest was open and they should have done more. In Florence, they saw a replica of Michelangelo’s David but not the real thing, completely ridiculous. In Pisa, again, they only were outside the tower and did not go inside. For the additional cost of that excursion, a tour up the tower should have been included. I have been to Italy and Switzerland recently so I’m aware of the cost for these tours and what should be included. Very disappointing. My child said the only decent meals they had the entire time were the lunches they paid for on their own. The accommodations were good, especially the one in Rome. All the staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable but the actual included tours were again, very lacking. My child did say that the Switzerland part of the tour was truly spectacular. Throughout the tour there were never any safety concerns, kids were well taken care of by EF staff and teachers. There was an issue with the flight back (air Canada cancelled one portion) but EF had that taken care of with the airlines without any of the group having to do anything. It was honestly the tours and food which were lacking, and everything else was great.

Hotels were good, comfortable, clean with good breakfasts. Dinners overall were terrible, lacking in quality, vegetables and choice. Most of our students went to McDonalds every night due to not enjoying the meal or the portions were too small. There was a lot of excessive driving, IE. an extra 2 hours just to go for dinner, which that night was awful. Driving an hour and 15 minutes past the following days attractions only to drive back in the morning.

J'ai adoré mon voyage comme responsable de groupe de 36 élèves de sec. 1 à 5. Je n'ai rien à dire sur l'itinéraire, les visites, les hôtels, le tempo ou le guide (Philippe :) ). Tout cela était vraiment parfait. La sécurité, la gestion des allergies des élèves, le magnifique autobus voyageur (Mercedes!) C'est un des plus beau voyages que j'ai faits avec EF (j'en ai fait plus de 10!)

Par contre, c'est le deuxième voyage pour lequel nous vivons un problème lié à la nourriture/qualité/portion des soupers, qui, selon moi, ne sont pas à la hauteur. J'ai aimé la proactivité de EF lorsque j'ai manifesté mon mécontentement durant le voyage; ils ont compensé avec des petites surprises pour les élèves. J'aimerais que les restaurants soient mieux choisis par l'agence afin de pouvoir offrir des soupers de qualité aux élèves, avec des légumes, notamment.

Pour le reste, je suis enchantée de mon expérience! Je voyagerai de nouveau avec EF dans les prochaines années.

What an amazing experience with EF tours on our high schools from Paris to Barcelona! Dave was our EF tour director and what a professional he was. He was able to connect with the kids and they learned so much about European history in a fun and exciting way!
