Appalling.

Raised a complaint regarding RC negligence. Complaint opened. 4 - 5 months of communication - referencing other similar cases with the same RC. Clear evidence of alleged fraud. Even a house visit.

The outcome? Refusal to provide technical details, give straight answers to questions, or even confirm room measurements taken. Denial of accountability and remit - even for the initial complaint.

A complete a total waste of my time. And what appears to be an appalling cover-up / obfuscation at the expense of consumers left without heat under the ECO4 scheme.

This is a warning for all NQ DEA Assessors. I cannot speak for other accreditation schemes available but do investigate them before deciding. I unfortunately took my trainer's word for ECMK's proficiency which is proving to be a big mistake.
ECMK are understaffed (admitted when speaking to their agents on the helpline) and have difficulty providing support.
They impose impossible deadlines e.g. 'upload this documents before close of business today or your account will be suspended', but fail to reply to emails in under 48 hours.
Their responses, are rushed, haphazard and unclear. 'Tickets' are closed before you have an resolution and an actual adviser able to provide support is not able to be spoken to at any point. The promised support that they champion in their adverts is non-existent!

there doesn't seem to be anywhere you can obtain honest reviews about any of these accreditation schemes, but hopefully this will help other newly qualified DEAs.

Complained to them about assessor registered with them as he has been ingnoring me since last year. Received a response that they have closed my case> Made a complaint asking them to reopen it and look at it again but have been ignored! Made today a formal complaint to their Scheme Manager but am not holding my breath. It would appear that I have to exaust the internal process before reaching a panel. I have no idea how they can get away with such a poor service and it is rather annoying and frustrating!

I have mentioned this before to the staff at ECMK as they will fail a audit and instant suspension I have had a few times on a Sunday getting suspended when i have epcs the very next day (which delays my day as you need to call them up and go through why you have failed which is very time consuming.. I understand they are doing their job but come on sort it out)

Their assessor incorrectly filled in 2 EPC forms for me and I have had no redress and have had to pay for more EPCs to be able to let the premises . No contact from company or assessor.
