Katie Connolly has been my employment consultant and she has been incredibly helpful and supportive with finding me employment!

She has made me feel very capable in what I can achieve and motivates me to strive for what I would like to do!

Katie Connah my community connector has been very helpful, she made the finding of the volunteering role an easy and smooth operation. She was kind and supportive. I am enjoying my volunteering

I wanted to add little review about this company I had help with finding jobs and look for good work for me and this company has help me so much amazing staff amazing help very polite team of workers they have support me to my job interview think just amazing I recommend this service for anyone not in work they are great service

I have been trying to get a job for a while and struggled when working as most of my needs wasnt met and my work life declined. Since having my personal ecl worker Katie, job finding has been fun. When she comes over we just chat while looking for jobs. Now i am employed and waiting for a start date. And ecl will still contact me while working to make sure my needs are met and there are no issues. Thank you ecl for helping me find my feet when no one else would actually help. :) would recommend.

I would firstly like to start my review by saying that my mother was in deep depression and has struggled for a while with loneliness and the staff and transport for your facility at basildon ucl I cannot praise enough for giving her the time and attention she needed? She lives alone and has carers as she's nit too steady on her feet but nothing is too much for these staff members to help her. The staff members in particular that I've had contact with are Jess,Candice,Paul and last but not least Teresa. This group of devoted staff make my mum smile like she used to and I thought I'd lost forever. They are amazing individuals. I can't recommend this facility enough. I'm sorry but I've forgotten the ladies name but the arts and craft lady is also amazing.

My mother in law goes to the Ashleigh centre in Basildon & I've really got to say that all the staff I've come in contact with ie Jess, Candice,Teresa & paul have made her very happy by keeping her mind occupied with making arts & craft & also bingo. Everytime we speak to her when she gets back home, she is laughing & joking because of this centre, it also as brought a new lease of life, as she lives alone. Thankyou once again ECL 5☆

ECL is an amazing place where my Dad really looks forward to attending 5 days a week. The staff are upbeat professionals who genuinely care about their Day Centre members. They do fun activities and even tailor daily exercises for everyone based on my Dads Physiotherapy needs. I highly recommend ECL.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to one of your wonderful Clacton On Sea carers, Bernadette, who cared for my dad, on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Bernadette provided fantastic support and did everything necessary to make my dad comfortable when he experienced ventricular fibrillation and needed shocking three times that morning. Her quick actions undoubtedly saved his life. She stayed by my dad's side while the doctors and paramedics worked on him, ensured that his dog was fed, and contacted me, waiting for my arrival at my dad's home. When I arrived, she greeted me with a much-needed hug, explained everything thoroughly, and offered the reassurance I required during that difficult time.

I cannot thank Bernadette enough for her support. Please ensure that Bernadette receives the recognition she deserves for her exceptional care and support, on behalf of my family and me. Kudos to ECL and all their wonderful carers!

i can say its the the best company you can work for. The management look after staff and don't let work 7days a week without a single day off!! i am a member of staff and have two jobs, however only this company explained the risk of not having a day off and the reason of importance of it - when i explained that second job wants me to work more. Because ECL is my main job i will drop down working hours in my second job, because i spoke with my manager and i been explained the risk and importance of having a time off.

What a fantastic show the customers performed. I was amazed by the confidence and talent they all shared. Also a massive congratulations to all the ECL staff. Especially Robert, Jane and Tracy well done to you all your hardwork definitely paid off.

i have attended the ecl ashleigh centre in basildon since 2018,give or take the odd lockdown.the centre has very kind and friendly staff and they have helped me so much since the recent death of my father. i would recommend the centre to anyone with adult family members with learning difficulties or elderly people.

I attended a coffee morning in aid of the Alzheimer’s society at the ECL day centre, my mum goes there twice a week. I had a really lovely time, the coffee, cakes & company were wonderful & there was also a raffle with lovely prizes. The manager Oliver & staff are so nice & friendly & are so lovely to their customers & make everyone welcome.

It was lovely to spend some time with Mum at the Day Centre with hot drinks and cakes on offer, plus a raffle which gave everyone a chance to win something, all in aid of Alzheimer’s Society who were there to talk to family members and carers. It was such a lovely atmosphere. You could see everyone was enjoying themselves.

My mother attends ECL at Loughton two days per week and it is such an incredible service they provide. The staff are all so welcoming and polite to all of the customers and their families. We are always greeted with a smile and friendly faces - the staff go above and beyond to make sure my Mum is happy and cared for whilst she is at the centre. They are very accommodating and we are so grateful for the safe and fun environment they have provided. Thanks so much to all the team.

I have visited ECL Loughton, Older People Day Centre a couple of times recently and found the atmosphere, staff and the care for those attending to be of the highest standard.
The staff and management are cheery, helpful and very attentive at all times.

Staff was absolutely wonderful, tea and coffee morning with a raffle, they also had cakes! The cakes were amazing! The atmosphere as always was wonderful! The staff are absolutely amazing! Cannot fault any of them! Jess is amazing with my nan, and my nan absolutely adores her!

Carly had been so helpful and friendly in working with our daughter who has special needs. She has supported her through applying for jobs, helping her with interviews and to get her first job. She continues to work closely with her by attending the job in her first few days to provide support, encouragement and guidance.

Sam Barnes has been very good at supporting me .She is all ways a phone call away if need anything.

I visited Marylands Day Care Centre today at Colchester to share some copies of photos from Colchester Museum archives to a room of older people. I could see the bond of trust and friendship between the service users and all the staff including Anne & Katie . It was a warm and caring environment full of interaction. The space were welcoming and there was a lovely atmosphere. Anne was very encouraging and so engaging with all present.
