Grateful for Jackie and the MWLA family

Joining Mindful Weight Loss Academy (MWLA) has truly changed my life, not just physically, but mentally. It’s completely shifted my mindset around food and balance in a way that finally feels realistic and sustainable. I’ve learned I can still enjoy the foods I love while being mindful with building balanced meals.

My coach, Kacey, has been absolutely amazing, supportive, positive, and encouraging. I always look forward to her feedback on my food journals and check-ins. I’m also so grateful for Jackie and the entire MWLA team and community for making this journey feel so supportive and uplifting.

I’m am almost at the end of the program and so far have lost 13lbs. I’ve gotten compliments from family and friends about how great, strong, and healthy I look. I finally fit into clothes I haven’t worn since before having my kids. Sometimes, others notice the changes before I do, which is always such a grateful surprise.

I’m beyond thankful I joined MWLA and finally committed to myself. I truly appreciate everything this program has given me. For helping me understand that this isn’t just a phase or a fad diet. It’s a forever lifestyle that I intend to practice and do everyday not only for myself, but for my family so that I can be the healthiest, strongest, and mindful version of myself.

Jackie is so encouraging on your…

Jackie is so encouraging on your journey that you owe it to yourself to start! I was so busy being a mom that I didn't focus on my own health. When I finally saw a picture of myself i couldn’t believe it was me. I also hated the number on the scale and knew I needed to do something about it. I didn’t think anything would work and started the process questioning if I could even lose weight. From the moment I said “yes” I felt like it all fell into place. Jackie has so many tools for success and encourages you along the way. You never feel alone and the weekly calls are so uplifting. I love that she gives you suggested grocery lists for stores I shop in and is happy to answer your questions. I’m glad I said “yes” and have my 50 lb weight loss to show it’s possible. I did all of this while still being around trigger foods and having fun recipes. There is even a fun app to help with dining out with my name. I love this community and am so thankful for where it has lead me. You will have a healthy relationship with food while still losing weight. Jackie encourages you every step of the way and is your biggest cheerleader.

MWLA Success

The whole MWLA staff really helped educate me and give me the tools to be successful with eating and living life to the fullest for the rest of my life. They were supportive and helpful. They helped me repair my relationship with food and weight loss and focus on non-scale victories like more energy and less mood swings.

If you are looking for a quick fix

If you are looking for a quick fix , this is not the program for you. This program is about overall sustainable lifestyle change and helping learn new positive behaviors and getting rid of the old toxic "diet" culture that many of us grew up with.
I have a coach to I talk to weekly (or more frequently if needed), there are weekly support calls and so many resources (in a good way). I love the coach and weekly call, it is a great feeling to have someone there for me and also on the weekly calls, have other members experiencing similar things. I don't ever feel alone in this journey.
This program has helped remove food noise for me , which took up WAY too much space in my head.
If you are looking to change your overall mindset on food, exercise, your overall well being physically and mentally and put in the hard work, this is for you.

Life changing

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mindful Weight loss Academy. I found MWLA when I was searching for a nutrition program and looking into starting a GLP-1. I really did not want to, but I felt like I was out of options. I had tried everything- weight watchers, intermittent fasting, breaking my fast early, limiting my carbs, counting macros, all of it. Nothing was sustainable; I have struggled my entire adult life with my weight and I fell into cycles with losing weight and then gaining the weight back. MWLA has taught me how to listen to my hunger cues and focusing on slowing down when I eat, learning to enjoy food again. This program has not only helped me but it has helped my family learn how to become mindul eaters. We all focus on eating balanced meals that help keep us satisfied and enjoying all of the foods we love!

This is the BEST program to lose weight consistently!

I have joined MWLA 6 weeks ago and have already lost 20 pounds and back to my weight pre-pregnancy! Hard to believe I have achieved that by eating normally and without restrictions, without counting my calories or measuring portions. It’s all about mindful eating, listening to your internal cues and being satisfied as well as eating balanced meals & snacks. I am shocked as I wasn’t able to achieve that in the past without having to restrict myself. This is a program where Jackie and her team of dietitians keep you accountable but teach you how to be healthy and be a mindful eater. It is so life changing as it’s building good eating habits and patterns for the rest of your life and basically re-wiring your brain. I am so happy with the results and what is coming next and recommend anyone who needs help with food noise and consistency in losing weight to join the MWLA now. You also get to access a TONS of resources from Jackie and her team as well as a wonderful community of women who are there to support each other.

Jackie IS THE BEST EVER

Jackie IS THE BEST! The real deal! I have lost over 15lbs in three months. I did this without counting calories, without weighing anything. I did this without feeling deprived, having to “start over on a Monday,” and without “cheating.” I learned about the science of weight loss, how being a mindful eater puts you in a natural calorie deficit. I have dieted unsuccessfully for over 30 years, and yes, I tried all those name brand diets! Until Jackie and MWLA, I didn’t realize how little I was supported and how much money I had wasted on them. Jackie helped me understand my relationship with food. She makes you feel heard because she listens! I felt so supported and yes, she held me accountable and made me dig deep! She provides so much feedback, hundreds of recipes, shopping guides, group support, work out routines. The list is endless, and no matter how enthusiastic I am in my review, it will not do her or her program justice! This is the longest I have ever stayed on a weight loss program, and I just signed up for another three months because I have made strides, physically and emotionally, or as Jackie would say, scale and non-scale victories.

MWLA is the best!

I found Jackie and the Mindful Weight Loss Academy (MWLA) at the exact time I needed to find it. I was done with dieting, had tried intuitive eating but found that it wasn’t for me, and I was put on a weight loss medication but I felt like something was missing. My relationship with food wasn’t great and I needed support in my weight loss journey. Joining MWLA has truly changed my life, and I’m only one month in. I’ve already lost 10 pounds but more importantly, I’m learning about how to work with my body, not against it. And I’m also learning about how important mindset is on a weight loss journey. I cannot say enough good things about Jackie and her program. For anyone who is nervous about joining like I was, go for it. You’re worth the commitment and the investment! Join MWLA and get the support, encouragement, and amazing coaching you need. With this program, you’re in good hands!

This program is amazing

This program is amazing! For the first time, I have a healthy relationship with food and tools to help me sustainably lose weight. I’ve learned so much through the coaching calls, modules, and slack community. My clothes fit better, I’m more confident, and I continue to see the number on the scale go down. 100% recommend this program to anyone struggling to lose weight.

The best program for mindful eating!

Despite it only being a month since starting My Weight Loss Academy, it’s been a game changer. Not only is the community kind, supportive and caring, but I’ve already learned so much about how to think about food so that I build a healthy relationship with food - while still having it be satisfying and delicious! The founder Jackie, along with the RDs helping to lead the program are so informative, and provide one-on-one support that other programs may not provide. My Weight Loss Academy isn’t your traditional “diet,” but rather it’s a mindset shift that let’s you continue to enjoy food, but enjoy it in a way where you can see real, tangible change. I’m so excited to continue on my mindful eating journey, and continue to see results!

Highly Recommend!

I can't say enough how much this program has helped me! Jackie, Kacey and the entire team have been amazing. The weekly calls, the mindset training and constant support have helped me get closer to my goal! I am already down 11 lbs and I have still been able to eat all the amazing food that I want. I highly recommend this program to anyone who it tired of the back and forth diet culture. This is literally a life changing program by helping you make lifelong changes!

My experience

Jackie and her team are something special! There program has helped heal my relationship with food and put a stop to undoing poor habits. It has also helped me build a higher self esteem about the outlook of everything. The information, community and tools are so accessible, no matter where you are starting in your mindful eating journey. If you are hesitant to start, book a call with Jackie and you will instantly be put at ease. It has been such a amazing experience being part of this program and I feel like I can live my life free of pressure and restriction.
