Tasty products, not so tasty service
Order took a week to be dispatched and only then after the threat of wanting a refund. I was told my delay was down to it being a seasonal period. I ordered before Black Friday so not sure what seasonal rush they were having but slow dispatch appears to be standard judging by the reviews on here. When they did arrive it's a good thing it's cold weather as one ice brick for a large package isn't adequate. The products however are good and tasty. The crunchy cheese bites are a novel little snack, although the truffle one doesn't taste like it has ever even been in the same postcode as something resembling a truffle.
This cheese is absolutely amazing
This cheese is absolutely amazing, I don't miss my old cheddar at all! I never see the full range in the supermarkets so being able to buy direct is great. I often have issues with delivery as I live on an island but I can't fault the customer service. They've refunded a late package, refunded me the difference when I checked out before a coupon was successfully added, and have sent many discounts and offers. Highly recommend this company especially if you don't live on an island. Also the Dr Will's range is excellent and well worth adding to an order.

Lack of communication
I ordered over a week ago and was told I'd receive an email confirmation, no email was sent. I had to chase this up a via email and it took them 3 days to respond. Finally received a response after 7 days saying my order has just been shipped with an "apology" very disappointed

Bad business planning
Eat Lean has an absolute market dominance on low fat cheese. No other cheese comes close to how low fat/low cal this is. But the minute one comes on the market I won’t buy from eat lean again. They can’t seem to cope at all with the influx of orders they receive, the past five orders now I’ve had to email asking where my order is only to be sent something along the lines of “sorry a system error occurred we are sending your delivery out today”. How they have let this go on for the years I’ve bought from them with no business plan update is crazy to me. Eat lean can’t still hide behind “we’re a new business getting used to things”. It’s a shame with such a great product that it comes with such bad business planning.

I LOVE CHEESE!.. I’m referred to by my close friends as the Cheese Monster!
With that means balance to stay healthy though. I always thought that you substituted taste for health, on some level.
But with Eat Lean I was most definitely WRONG!!
We’ve tried their standard cheese, and today their mature cheese. Let me be clear NEITHER IS A SUBSTITUTE FOR TASTE!!
The cheese texture is a little more rubbery, more in line with say Edam, than a traditional mature cheddar, but that’s more than OK when the taste is as good as ANY mature cheddars on the market and better than lots!
If I can eat more of this Eat Lean cheese, and get better health outcomes, then it’s a certified winner!!
The cheese also slices, grates, and cooks, just like a normal cheddar does, but tastes even better.
Honestly go and try it.. you won’t be disappointed with the taste and you’ll love the health benefits.

Been a loyal customer for few years , placed a order to be told on a Wednesday will be dispatched, be here for the Friday mu sons birthday, never turned up wasn't even dispatched, still waiting over a week later for order , quick enough to take my money customer service is a joke , looks like you've lost quite a few good customers ,

This cheese is the best. It is basically just protein so it’s easy to fit into a healthy diet. It melts and tastes good. Love it!

Update
So I get my delivery, no communication plus no attempt to keep the package cool. So I have a box of sweaty inedible cheese.
They haven’t replied to any emails, I have contacted someone on Instagram and asked them for. Refund and a QR CODE so I can return this package.
Now they are not replying.
Cowboy company and should be avoided.

Found a great discount code online that allowed me to get a great price for 4 blocks of cheese, a 24 pack of protein bars and some soft cheese spread thinking of great I'll give these a whirl because I do love cheese and it's something I've had to reduce in my diet due to high fat and not much else (this product seems to reduce the fat and up the protein!)
Placed my order and got a confirmation though saying congratulations you'll get a notification when your order is ready to ship!
2 days to by and I hear nothing, I try emailing info @ eatlean.com no answer even after the "2 to 3 days waiting period"
I try commenting on Facebook I'm ignored there too
I googled the farm spoke to a lady there who said "I'll pass this to an eat lean representative marked as urgent!"
I found a contact number for eat lean that plays hold music and cuts to a voice mail which I presume is ignored too!
And even messaged on Facebook where I got a canned reply saying email info @ eatlean.com
Any chance a human can contact me I'd be happy to know what you're doing with my money and my order!
No product and no customer service
It's bizarre really, I ordered on Monday and there's been no updates and no response to my follow up by email. I've never encountered such silence from a recognised brand. I'll claim the money back for my order via credit card.
Missing items and out of date products
Ordered 2 boxes of cheese and 2 bottles of egg whites. Only received 1 box of cheese and the egg whites were out of date.
2nd time I have had missing items from Eatlean - ‘customer service’ do not respond to messages. Something has gone very wrong with this company, you can see by the number of negative reviews being posted.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Ordered 12 days ago and still awaiting my order. I have made numerous calls to customer services and I’m still waiting for someone to handle my query about my missing order. Terrible experience. Such a shame- Great cheese, but customer service stinks.
Lost a loyal customer
I have been a loyal customer for some years, I love this product.
However, my recent purchase will be my last one.
The product was delivered in a box with some brown paper, no ice packs, no insulation. Despite bringing the box in immediately the contents were hot and sweaty.
Three of the items were mouldy.
I have received no feedback from the company.

Tasty cheese - but...
Tasty cheese when it's received and it's not mouldy.
I only received half my order so I had to raise a query. To be fair the rest of the order was dispatched relatively swiftly.
When I opened the packaging 3 blocks of cheese were covered in blue mould. If it was only a little bit I would have cut it off, but the whole blocks of cheese were inedible.
The temperature controlled packaging isn't cold at all on receipt.
I raised a second complaint stating that three blocks were mouldy and I was compensated with just two blocks.
Again to be fair to the company, they provided me with a refund faster than any company I had ever dealt with.
The product is good, excellent even. Going forward I'll probably only buy the cheese from shops where the supply chain may be more refridgerated.
Will never order again! Lost a loyal customer!
Have been ordering from them for well over a year and my last order will be my last.
I have had a fair few orders with mouldy items and they take ages to get back to you with any resolution.
Latest order was meant to be shipped on the 28th May as we are out of the country and I had confirmation from Katie Whiston this would be the case. Anyway, they decided to ignore this and deliver it on Friday 24th anyway so it has now been sitting on my door step for 3 days and will continue to sit there for another 2 until we are home. Have tried to contact them but they are as ever difficult to contact so I am over £35 out of pocket and when I get back from holiday will have a soaking wet (it’s been raining) box of sweaty mouldy cheese to deal with!
Will never be ordering again after this experience!

Love the cheese but such a shame they aren’t more available in stores. Postage costs are high unless you spend over £35 and I just wouldn’t get through that much cheese before it goes off. It used to be available in Aldi but isn’t anymore and only the grated version seems to be in supermarkets now. Please release the full range to shops!!!
Terrible service
Orders go missing, you’ll then not be able to communicate with customer services, and if you expect your money back, you could read War and Peace and still be waiting.
Like the products, but the customer service is frustrating and not what it used to be
I've been ordering Eatlean for over 5 years, since April 2019, and really like the products. In the early days the customer service used to be really good (bring back Austen!) But it's really gone down hill since then, and dealing with any issue now is really frustrating.
This latest occasion has so far gone as below and still with no resolution -
- 21st Mar, I email with photos re cheese that is moldy before its best before date
- Approx. end of Mar - I chase again as no reply received
- 9th April - I finally get a reply - but just asking me to fill in a complaint form with the same info I sent back in March
- 11th April - I get feedback saying a refund has been issued and will be received in a few days
- 23rd April - still no refund - I chase again
- 30th April - I get a reply saying 'I've checked and your refund was done this morning' - yeah right, just a coincidence then?
- 10th May - (7 weeks later!) still no refund!
The previous occasion I had to get in touch was also incredibly frustrating. I was simply asking a question about the pricing of a bundle, as the items/sizes that were sent could have been bought separately less than the price of the bundle. I just kept getting replies back saying send a photo of your order to prove what's missing. I lost track of the number of times I replied saying nothing was missing, and in the end I gave up on the original question as I couldn't get an answer! (And the replies weren't that friendly either.)
You need to look at your customer service Eatlean - I'm a longstanding customer, but you're not as easy and pleasant to deal with as you used to be.
