Szczegóły produktu
Shop pressure treated timber battens for garden screens, trellis construction, repairs and custom outdoor timber projects. Their slimmer section makes them suitable for spaced screening, framing and jobs where full-sized rails or boards would be unnecessarily heavy. Timber battens can be used vertically or horizontally to create contemporary slatted screens, support lighter garden structures or replace damaged components in existing trellis and fencing. The spacing between battens can be adjusted to balance privacy, airflow and appearance. Compare the available lengths, sections and treated finishes above. Plan the batten spacing and allow for cuts before ordering so the finished project remains consistent across the full width or height. Need more product guidance? Despite this being treated wood. Within a few days of the wood being put up across our garage to make a slatted trellis effect, the wood has bent and warped.

Odpowiedź od East Coast Fencing
Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced movement in the battens. Even though all our timber is pressure treated, it is still a natural material and can occasionally bend or warp as it adjusts to changes in moisture and temperature once installed. This is a common characteristic of sawn timber products and not necessarily a fault with the treatment itself.
We do our best to select and prepare timber to minimise this, but some movement is always possible. Your feedback is appreciated and will be shared with our team as we continually look at ways to improve our products.
