Very very slow generate document, poor usability, lot of bugs, very slow inspect model operations

We use as alternative for EA document generator, because eadoсx more flexible. But this is hard to use tool. :(

I would have given this product at least a 4 if not a 5, but in our environment, our SQL Server back end database is the only option we have to store a shared repository. While I've used SQL Server as the repo store before, for some reason in our environment, the connectivity to the data center creates severe latency issues when doing any operations with EA, to the point where the creation of Word documents is beyond painful. The only way forward for us is to save a model fragment to a local file, and switch to that project when trying to create Word output. The Spreadsheet tool for import/export also has latency issues, but because it's more of a batch operation, I can continue to use it, despite the latency. Because our network is not something my team has any input on or ability to change, I don't really have a loggable defect, it just means that I'll cut back my license to a single seat at renewal time.

because of some minor defects I don't rate 5 stars.

I've used the older version few years ago, and this was great. But the recent version was unusable due to licencing issues.

Product works with issues with screen resolution support for high res displays such as laptops. Need a second monitor in order to use, as the panels are not visible or they are overlapped and non functional. Placed trouble call about this over a year ago and was told to set the scaling to 100%, but with a 3200x1800 display one would need a magnifying glass to see the screen and the ability to move a pointing device only 1 pixel. Not convenient to be dragging an external monitor to a client site in order to do work on site.
