Sold Creaky 'Refurbished' Aeron Chair
I was sold a Herman Miller Aeron Size C chair that wasn't truly refurbished (Purchase from August '24). There were creaks and squeaks that needed me getting silicone WD-40 to address, but the chair continued to be noisy. Certainly not silent operation and certainly not refurbished to the appropriate standard.
I felt let down by Dsktop who really should have communicated these issues in the item description. I have unfortunately had to sell the chair a year into ownership as the noise was too bothersome.
I also felt the base of the chair seat was wobbly for some reason, but I am less certain if this was actually a fault or a feature intended to provide some flex.
Overall, I would say 'buyer beware' as Dsktop may sell you faulty furniture. Please check anything you buy thoroughly and return if necessary.
