Call But Did Not Say Anything

I scheduled a call, but someone called me and didn't say anything. I kept saying hello. They didn't call back or email either. They were probably determining my race and/or age by listening to my voice. They are also a foreign business. Based on the reviews and this experience, I will choose another company.

Stay away

How can this company get trust pilot to delete a review? they recently deleted my review about trying to charge me $1169 for a minor scratch plus $495 administrative fee! I have a video time stamped of the car having no damage then all of a sudden a swirl on the black fender suddenly appear and its not even a deep scratch that damaged the plastic fender that cannot be wiped down or rebuff according to the wear and tear guidelines in their website. Just beware , please take pictures and videos of your car before returning it because they will charge you with bogus damages. im ready to fight this to get this company not do this practice anymore.

Another Failed GO customer

I'm another customer that GO totally failed. We started our lease in early 2022, and all was good for about a year, but then they took my vehicle back 2 years early. I noticed that they now have only one offering in my area, but it seems over-priced to me. I'm surprised GO is still in business.

I’d use a different service

I’m one of the customers that they took back the cars early because they weren’t making money (their customer service rep explaining interest rate changes)

AVOID

I only gave them 2 stars because the concept behind this company was promising during the times of COVID. However, they have ZERO idea on how to manage a business and they seem to be figuring it out on the go. I applied to get my car in April 2022, and it was delivered June 2022 after lots of pushing to receive my car on time. I kept the car for a whole year after that and during the year it was just painful dealing with that company. They have changed the agreement multiple times during that time and you are forced to either agree or just go screw yourself. They initially provided insurance and then all of a sudden caned that and you had to get insurance on your own, which was not easy as many companies did not understand the type of agreement I had with the company and and the one insurance company that accepted my vehicle canceled the agreement after one month when they figure out that they should not be providing insurance for such a agreement. Been a few months after that they just decided that they’re not doing this anymore and they basically give me a few weeks to either purchase the car or return it. I’m a very busy young professional and I did not have any availability to drive two hours to their warehouse to drop off the car so they were charging $400 for the car to be picked up. And if you decide to keep the car, they will punt you to a dealer who just wants to charge you dealer fees and sell you the car on paper and that’s it. The initially kept the second fob key and told me ship the plates to us and one will ship back the second fob key after you purchase the car and when I did that they were like oh we don’t keep an inventory so we’re sorry that you got affected, but no second keys.

Run away from GO!!!!!

Run away from GO!!!!!! I wish I researched them better. These four to five “owners” hit the internet with venture capital money and put people in cars. Then they disrupt your life with demands, drama and everything else. I was happy to give my keys back and give the car back. I hope this company goes out of business.

The quote "Too good to be true" is…

The quote "Too good to be true" is fishy in this case. The terms of the contract will always favor the business, not the individual. They provided a quick notice to return the car due to unfavorable business conditions. I kept the accumulated miles over having year+: planning to keep the car for three years. But I was asked to return the vehicle within ten days and give up my miles (more than three months of underutilized for free). No extension, pathetic location to return, and asked not to write bad reviews for one monthly fee, which I didn't agree to, so another customer truly understands the business model here.

Just be aware of what you are getting into with this drivego. You end up with better deals with leasing in the longer run than this subscription model.

**Update** No Response From Billing Since July

Update for Saturday, November 25, 2023:

I did file a consumer complaint with the PA Attorney General in July and they are currently in the process of assisting me with resolving this matter with GO. This past week, I had to inform that office that GO still has refused to provide the monies owed to me and they have ceased all communication with me including ignoring every attempt I have made to reach them for months on end now.

For those considering the use of GO's services...Trust that these negative reviews reflect how this company views its responsibilities towards its customers. ALL they care about is their bottom line. The PR responses that they gave to us when all of the recalls went down amounted to nothing.

For myself, I am now approaching 6 months of NO response to emails regarding payments owed to me from GO's billing department. I have tried phone calls, voicemails, text messages, social media sites, and even the online chat. I am screened by this company's employees at every turn.

Again, to all considering using GO's services...heed our warnings. There are many of us who are hanging in there to continue to sound the alarm about this company's continued wrongdoings. Our experiences and voices will not be lost in the dust of these reviews.

Why is it that I can get no response from anyone at GO? What did I do to receive such poor treatment from GO?? All payments were made. I returnd the car when they recalled it in June.

How is it possible that all my attempts to reach GO go unanswered?

They wanted me to return the car…

They wanted me to return the car earlier than the 3 year term. They were threatening me with lawsuits while I was out of the country for an extended period of time. Dealing with them was such a pain since the first service had to be done. I remember crying at a dealership trying to make arrangements for an oil change. Very unorganized in the service department, changing their policies every so often and ending up to cover only $75 of the service amount. Also, I remember having an engine light and they had instructed me not to service the car until it reaches certain milage.
I was also unlucky to have a rodent in the car engine and they didn't want to deal with it all. I remember going to the service provider they had at the time and the provider had clear instructions not to check the rodent issue at all.
Also they had charge me additional $100 late fee for a violation that was not paid on time by them. The violation was $100, they charged $25 for their processing fee plus another $100 because they did not pay it in April that was due but in July. They claimed that the USPS had lost the ticket so I would have to pay $225 for a ticket worth $100. The accounting manager was so rude. I am happy I gave this car back and I do not have to deal with them ever again.

Horrible Company Sage continues.......

Well, to update things a bit:

1) Car Go/Drive Go is insisting on charging me $399 for returning their car and also want some other small fees, adding up to about $440 they say I "owe" them. They originally offered $500 for early termination on their end, but said they won't pay it because I would not agree to sign their non-disclosure. To reiterate, that involved my removing all past and future social media postings critical of their company.
2) Presently going through arbitration with the Bureau of Consumer Protection in Pennsylvania. They say I owe them $440, and I believe they owe me $500. I offered to forgive my $500 if they forgave the $440 , so we could both move on. Should hear an outcome from that by the end of the month. It is voluntary on the part of Go, so I don't expect them to agree to settle.
3) Got a letter from them the prior week stating my account was paid off. I was in shock. The next day I received a follow up email, stating the receipt was sent in error and that if I did not pay up in full within 10 days they would escalate. I have not heard back from them yet. Malfeasance and incompetence. Not a surprise.

Will continue to update you all. Again...DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY

Unparalleled Dishonesty….Trust Pilot removes GO’s fake reviews AGAIN.

Please don’t trust this company. If Bernie Madoff had a secret love child with the devil I’m sure that they would work at GO. Unparalleled dishonesty, I simply can’t believe this.

GO lied to hundreds of its customer in epic fashion. Instead of trying to improve and change their ways, what does GO decide to do? Be honest? Nope that’s what normal people would do. GO decided to lie some more by creating over 100 fake reviews (allegedly) to push them up from their clearly deserved poor rating.

Kudos to TrustPilot for catching them again and again.

Like an inveterate criminal, GO simply cannot change. Dishonest to the very core. The soul of dishonesty…your name is GO.

Please don’t trust this company…you’ll save more money and pain by trying to “buy the Brooklyn Bridge”.

I reiterate all of the bait and switch…

I reiterate all of the bait and switch tactics users have mentioned below. 1) No response from Go or ability to work with me when I received my notice to return car. It was pretty much, "tough luck".2.) No incentives to continue to use their service given how the inconvenience. 3.) I work in finance and understand the CFPB complaints should be taken seriously. I mentioned this to GO (as I logged a complaint) and there was no response. I understand the market condictions, but truly baffling how they expect to make it as a start up with this customer experience.

Caveat emptor : Buyer Beware

The relationship started well. When i first found Go Car Subscription, i was eager to believe that this is the future of car leasing. It was easy, painless, and affordable. Yes, it took a while for me to receive my car, but that was to be expected in 2022 with the car shortage.

Things changed about 4-5 months ago. It started with a survey from the CEO which I really trued to be helpful with as I really thought this model can be a gamechanger. Then came updated terms and conditions which is where things started to get dicey. they tried to finesse a larger subscription termination fee to that which I had previously agreed to. I'm talking doubling it. After emailing back and forth, I was able to get that adjusted.

Then we were asked to get our own insurance, which ok whatever. its super inconvenient but whatever i did it.

Then, out of the blue, two years before my car subscription was scheudled to end, they tell me i have 30 days to return the vehicle or they will shut my car down and i wont be able to access any of my belongings. They gave the the opportunity to purchase it at wholesale, which i probably would have if I wasn't closing on a house next month.

I asked them if i would to be able to hold the car for one more month because i cant go get another one until after closing, they pretty much said it wasn't their problem. So i returned the car today, and now am without a car for at least 30 days.

Go Car, you can't mess with people this way. Most families have budgets and plan their finances. When I have an agreement, my decisions are made around what I have agreed upon. Your company really screwed me on this, as this is not something i had to think of for two more years

To any people researching this company, please think twice before using them. if you are ok giving the car back whenever they feel its convenient for them then go for it. otherwise go lease something from a normal dealer. at least you know how long you will have the car.

Excellent company

Regardless of the recall, which they handled exceptionally professionally and politely, the service they offer is amazing, support always available and after all, the business is legitimate and will do their best to keep you happy as long as you are reasonable in your requests.

My google review last year was deleted…

My google review last year was deleted but in short: 1. delivered the car two months after promised, 2. charges miles per month so, as a new customer, received a large bill in the second month for an early road trip. They have since changed this but no credit or reimbursement was issued. 3. My monthly insurance costs increased. 4. They began charging a cc processing fee. 5 They cancelled my subscription with a 30 day notice.

All of this happened in 14 months and the reasons were always the same boilerplate bs language.

This is a very one-sided volatile company. Run fast and far away!!!!!

GO subscription abandoned customer

GO subscription offered 3 years contract, but they cancelled me after 1 year. then they told me "return in a month" or "buy". they price of the car is $21,500 + Tax for Sentra 2022. I can not believe they tells somebody to decide in a month to buy or find the other car. I asked the option to raise the price, which I may be able to accept, but they said no option to extend even with higher price. also, they ask approx $400 for picking up. it is very one-sided approach. They hart me financially. It is terrible service company, I will not recommend. also, if possible I like to join class action.

Good subscription service but no loyalty by CEO

I also was affected by the recall but instead of focusing on the negative, I moved forward. I understand what happened, I did not like that I have to return the vehicle, but it is not a lease, it's a subscription aka long term rental. The transition to get into another vehicle was pretty much painless and the $100 off for the next year is acceptable. Now, for the downside. Amid the chaos, I have banked over 5,000 miles that I paid for, they are simply going to vanish with zero credit, this is pretty unprofessional. GO could have come up with a better plan than just taking customers mileage bank with zero credit. Also, the fact I have to take a day to return and exchange the vehicles to save $400 also is pretty bad on GO'S part. Seems to me every decision they made benefits GO and not the loyal customer. For that, shame on you Michael B. Other than that, using GO is very convenient for me, Eric and Terri are great, no need to take anything out on them. I was leaning towards 4 stars because I like GO and the ease of the subscription. I chose 3 stars because of the way Michael B chose not to be fair and reward loyal customers that stay with GO by taking our mileage banks without credit and for the $400 return the car fee and pick up new one. Mike B, you should have done better to reward your loyal customers. Show me you deserve another star or two and I will upgrade my review.

This company is an absolute Fraud

This company is an absolute Fraud. Please stay away from them!! They said they want their car back out of the blue within 10 days even though I had a ton of miles left to use. I returned the car and now they are not returning my deposit or even acknowledging the 6 emails i have sent them asking for my deposit. I would not recommend them to anyone. My experience has been 0 out of 10.

- Promised car in October and delivered in deposit. Deposit paid in Oct

- Cancelled Insurance and I had to get my own

- Cancelled maintenance that was to be on them

- Asked for car back in 10 days

- Not refunding unused miles

- Not refunding my deposit

-Promised one month credit for asking for car back and not refunding.

Proper fraudsters.

I'm yet another customer with a recall

I'm yet another customer with a recall. First this car came with insurance, then I had to get my own which was a nightmare because they didn't insure in our names, they insured as a blanket policy. Very difficult to get proof for my new insurance company that I had insurance previously. My rate is over double what I was paying them.
Then they send an email about the recall. You try to follow up with them and all of a sudden there isn't anyone answering phones. I did get a call back and got very rude responses. Then another call back from a higher up. Nice guy, said he would arrange a pickup so I didn't have to deliver to them. Now crickets. THey don't have another car to replace it with. They were getting lots of bad google reviews, now you can't even open up their site on Chrome.
I looked online using another browser, they had a car for me, I call, leave a message then they call back saying that isn't available even though i'm looking at it online.
A real circus, I'm definitely filing with consumer affairs in PA attorney general.
