Shocking! Two blokes turned up, as soon as they saw the 2 seater sofa they started making excuses. Apparently the sun had faded it and it was 2 colours. This was not true, they also ripped the fire label off. Then charged me £40 to get rid of it. What a waste of a perfectly good sofa which would have really helped someone out but now it’s ending up in landfill. Won’t be using this service again.

Dean and Darryl arrived, at the very north of the county, up many steps, and made light work of our removals. Very efficient and delightful people to work with. Highly recommend them both and the service.

We used the Dorchester depot.
So easy to book a slot for a clearance, staff very helpful and friendly.
Removal men turned up on time, introduced themselves, cleared the flat in an efficient and friendly manner. Anything that they couldn't use, they explained why, and then took for us anyway, for an extremely good value fee.
Would definitely use again, and will definitely be recommending.

Dorset Reclaim were so accomodating. They went out of their way to do a next day delivery and even built a bed for me which they had no obligation to do. Very polite and helpful staff in store and the guys delivering.

Dorset reclaim (01305 267711) -through Dorset County Council were immediately helpful on the phone. They booked me in to remove my old fridge freezer and when Steve and Kieran arrived they were both friendly and efficient which made the whole experience pleasant and happy. They even negotiated my tricky access without complaint. I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend them to anyone seeking large item removals. Thank you again guys.

I booked Dorset reclaim to collect a large corner sofa and washing machine both in great condition. On arrival i got the feeling they didn't want to be there. They told me they may charge me to take the items, I mean I was donating 2 items in great condition for them to make money from. I wasn't given this information over the phone. Then they refused to take my washing machine because I hadn't unplugged it again they didn't tell me upon booking this needed to be done if they did i would have sorted it. They took a massive chunk out of the hallway wall on the stairs and made some really deep scratches all down the stairs with a manager present. I had some filler and one guy did try to full it but it looks awful. I was due to move out the property the next day. I have a 3 month old baby on my own and have no way of sorting this out so my landlord will probably keep my deposit now because of the damage caused by these people and I really need that money. I am having to leave the washing machine in the property as no time to sort something else out. The stress and panic this has caused me is just horrible. I felt very uncomfortable through the whole situation.

We live in Weymouth and used Dorset Reclaim as recommended by Dorset Council to pick up two large sofas. Easy to book on the phone (01202 679350). Two very nice gentlemen (Joe & Chris) turned up as expected. They were very professional, efficient and took care not to scratch any walls.
Highly recommended.

Very welcoming people and very well organised. Yasemin handled my call in a very welcoming manner making an accurate and rather long list of my donations and disposals. Downsizing we had a large number of both. Kieron and Steve were on time and extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they remained cheerful all day even though some of the furniture was heavy and rather difficult to manoeuvre. Between the 3 of them they even arranged an on the spot 2nd van as the volume of items was so large. Very pleased that they were able to take everything as we were moving the next day and needed the house clear at such a reasonable price. So glad that this organisation exists as it benefits so many people. Thank you!

We have used Dorset Reclaim a few times now and have always had nothing but a brilliant experience. Yesterday Chris and Steve came to collect our bed and they were so friendly, warm and so careful whilst removing the bed through the narrow hallway. I can’t rate them highly enough and really appreciated the kindness they showed to my dog who is very anxious. Great people and great service.

We recently had items collected and would like to say on both occasions the guys were most helpful, polite, careful, and very cheerful , It was a real pleasure and brightened my day, its truly a pleasure to find that there are still companies that believe in the old 'customer is king' values. The office in Poundbury was excellent in managing to organise the collection of 4 beds, because we were travelling back from holiday on the only suitable date for pick-up in our area. Steve and Keiran timed their arrival just right and did the job efficiently, politely and with great care. We highly recommend Dorset Reclaim as an excellent service for recycling and/or disposal of large household items.

Fantastic service from the lady at the front desk in Dorchester. She was very friendly from the moment I entered the store and super helpful during my purchase. The whole experience was fantastic and to know you're buying from a charity just tops it off.

I can’t recommend Dorset Reclaim highly enough to help me clear my late father’s apartment. I made the initial contact explaining what furniture we needed removing. I live in North Yorkshire and we needed a specific date for clearance. The Manager Darren was so accommodating and talked through my requirements. The guys that came were wonderful, friendly and took away everything we wanted. I am so happy that my late parents furniture has gone away to a charity to benefit other people.
