1 Lilac Cottages was very clean and in a great quiet location in Uplyme, had everything you needed and was really comfortable.
Dorset & Devon Holiday Cottages responded immediately when we found we had no tea towels, they were delivered the very next morning.

We liked the position of the accommodation overall. However, there were a few issues -
My friend has reduced mobility and is in heart failure. I had understood when booking that there would be parking with her disabled badge

The top of the shower room had lots of mold. I have cystic lung disease so was unable to use the shower. An extractor fan is needed.

The key safe was difficult to use.

There is no dishwasher- tho tablets were provided?!

Very good, clean spacious, and with parking - exactly what was required.

The flat was clean and comfortable, well equipped and not too far from the front. The parking was needed! We'd definitely consider returning.

This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed here and would happily stay time and time again, the property its clean and perfectly located, we had an issue with the tv not working when we checked in, spoke to the property manager and the maintenance man was there within the hour with a new tv which we did not expect at all, can’t fault the service at all 5 stars and would definitely recommend to any one, what a lovely property thanks again

Great location. Comfy and cool.No sound proofing. Could hear other guests above very clearly. Back yard like a waste ground and not cleaned a real shame.

We had a lovely few days staying in Harville Cottage. It is a quaint cosy cottage right on the sea front. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed, and the location was superb. The views of the sea and the Cobb from the windows were amazing and it was wonderful to go to sleep ( and wake up ) to the sound of the waves. The town centre is only a few minutes away, with an excellent range of pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked the Town Mill complex with its craft shops, microbrewery, and tapas restaurant.

I don’t generally leave reviews unless I’m really really happy about something. That’s the case here right from the beginning Ben was super helpful with anything I asked. The house was amazing it suited all of our family which were aged 2 to 79. Very well equipped everything you would need. Beds were super comfy and waking up to that view every morning was fabulous. Lyme Regis has lots to offer beach,gardens, independent coffee shops and shops to browse in. On overcast days visited Beer,Sidmouth,Axminster and Weymouth. The welcome pack of milk,juice,cake etc.was very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place and hopefully we’ll get the chance to stay there again.

Very good communication and extremely helpful with a parking issue (not the fault of the agency).

Modern, clean apartment in excellent location within Lyme Regis

One word sums up Lyme Bay View - Amazing! Amazing location, amazing off road parking, amazing view and amazing hi - spec luxury accommodation. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing time to enjoy the beach and make the most of all the great hostelries and restaurants, all a short stroll away. The highlight, though, has to be sitting on the balcony with a G & T, watching the sun set over the bay, absolutely idyllic. We can’t wait to return and experience it all again!

Lovely place plus friendly and helpful support

We had a superb weekend in January. Lyme Bay View was perfect - off street allocated parking. you could hear and see the waves lapping from the amazing balcony views and you were right in the middle of town. But it was lovely and quiet. And through the garden there’s a gate that takes you down to the beach. Everything was on the doorstep. The apartment was warm (underfloor heating) and nicely furnished and decorated. Comfy beds. Nice bed linen. Good WiFi and a mid-century sideboard well stocked for games. Loads of hot water. Decent oven. Lovely shower gels and soaps too, thanks! Definitely going back!

We are the owners of Harville Cottage, on the seafront at Lyme Regis.  We recently moved to DDHC because we felt that a local organisation would be best able to provide the personal service which we and our guests need.  This has certainly proved to be the case.  As a small, local organisation, DDHC is able to cater for our needs and those of our guests quickly and efficiently.  As we had hoped, DDHC provides a high quality service and is very responsive when issues arise.  This is not always the case with the larger providers, where guests can sometimes find it very difficult to resolve issues with an organisation which is based far from Lyme Regis and does not know the locality.  DDHC, on the other hand, are easily contactable and provide a quick, effective and personal service.  We are delighted with our move and are already reaping the rewards.

The property is spacious, light and airy

Good location only 10mins walk (downhill) to the sea.
Some may find the walk back up the hill a challenge. Well equipped apartment with comfy beds. Private parking spot right outside the front door. Nice view of the cliffs and coastline from the lounge window.
