Dormio Resorts & Hotels - Obertraun Recenzje 

Perfect accommodation nestled in the mountains. Everything was clean and well-maintained. For the future, a regular supermarket closer by would be desirable, as you are currently situated in a remote area. However, this does not detract from the beauty of the nature and water surrounding you.

Dormio Obertraun ligt op een prachtige locatie! De huisjes zijn ook prima, wel een tip een huisje te boeken dat wat verder van het treinspoor ligt anders kun je vroeg in de ochtend wakker worden van een trein.
Op zich is het park 4 sterren waard, maar eentje minder gegeven vanwege de slecte ervaring met (duur) vroegboeken door de ''dynamische prijzen'' - zie andere recensie onder Dormio in het algemeen.

Ons verblijf in vakantiehuis Traunsee op het Dormio Resort Obertraun was over het algemeen erg prettig, met een aantal plus- en minpunten.
De pluspunten:
De locatie is werkelijk prachtig – aan de voet van de bergen en vlak bij het meer. Het huis is ruim, met een grote tuin waar je heerlijk kunt zitten. De slaapkamers zijn lekker ruim en de bedden liggen goed. Ook het internet was uitstekend, wat zeker met een groter gezelschap fijn is. De keuken heeft een oven, wat we handig vonden, en de broodjesservice was top: elke ochtend verse broodjes aan de deur.
Het restaurant op het park was verrassend goed, met vriendelijk personeel en een gezellige sfeer. Ook het zwembad was heerlijk, en de sportzaal was een leuke extra voor wie wat actiefs wilde doen.
De minpunten:
De keukeninventaris was helaas niet op orde. Voor een huis dat bedoeld is voor acht personen was er veel te weinig keukengerei: nauwelijks pannen, geen ovenschalen en slechts vier glazen. Tegelijk waren er juist weer té veel borden en soepkommen. De keuken zelf was bovendien niet goed schoongemaakt – de afzuigkap was vet, en de prullenbakken waren ronduit vies.
Ook de douches vielen tegen: ze waren erg klein, de deuren sloten niet goed en er lekte veel water. De waterstraal was zwak, wat het douchen niet bepaald comfortabel maakte.
Conclusie:
Een prachtig gelegen en ruim huis met goede voorzieningen op het park zelf, maar de keukenuitrusting en hygiëne verdienen echt meer aandacht. Met wat betere schoonmaak en aanvulling van het keukengerei zou dit huis een absolute aanrader zijn.

Prima boekingssysteem, met duidelijke keuzes en prijzen. Heel transparant. Wat beter zou kunnen is de bevestiging van de betaling. Daar zitten een paar dagen tussen. Dit staat wel op de site, maar ik verwacht na een betaling direct een bevestiging.

Beautiful high-cliff mountains surrounding a nicely designed park with cared-for grass and houses in typical local style. The Hallstatter lake is on walking distance, providing nice cool water and grass with some trees for shade. Great for children and adults alike. Our house was spacious and comfortable. The terrace behind the house gave comfort to dining. I did miss a relaxing lazy lounger there. The only thing that was not up-to-par is the bathroom, which was a bit dilapidated and needs renovation.
Did I mention the excellent restaurant (we dined on the terrace when we could see the sun went down behind the mountains)? And the resort's rental bikes to go cycle around the lake? Nice way to explore! Also, the nearby train station (5 min walk), that took us for a day to the 'royal' Bad Ischl (Top-tip: go on Friday morning to look for local food and treats on the day-market at Bad Ischl's town center, at just a 10min walk from the train station there).

De betaling liep vast. Wellicht deed ik iets fout. Maar ik vertelde dit via de chat(?) dat er problemen waren met de betaling. Maar ik kon nergens de chat doorzetten, kon de chat niet via een knop verzenden. Dan heb je het gevoel dat je boodschap niet overkomt. Vervolgens krijg ik in de spam van mijn mail een bericht over de boeking. Maar dat wist ik niet, je kijkt je spam niet voortdurend na. Bovendien wist ik niet dat jullie via de mail zouden reageren. Gelukkig kreeg ik later een mail van jullie in mijn inbox en kon de betaling regelen. Maar al met al veel frustratie!

Von Fäkalien in der Toilette, Popel an der Wand, Schimmel,Defekte Duschkabine, fettige Küche bis hin zu benutze Hygieneartikel in den Schlafzimmer.

Al meerdere keren geweest en altijd prima geregeld. Nette woningen, mooi resort en ruim opgezet! En… in een prachtige omgeving met veel geschiedenis! Wat wil je nog meer?

The location of the resort is beautiful at the lake with a view at Hallstatt and the mountains. The accommodation was nice as well as the restaurant, swimming pool, fitness etc.

Goede en overzichtelijke informatie op de website en makkelijk te boeken.

Great holiday cottage with own terrace and a bathroom with each of the two double bedrooms.
The park is uniquely located at the shore of the lake, providing great views. We loved to visit the tourist highlights nearby, but also appreciated the direct surroundings of the park. Surprisingly the village Obertraun has hardly anything to offer, so we were glad to use the tasty services of the restaurant on the park and be able to buy the most necessary groceries in the mini-market.
Once having visited the obvious and nearby attractions, you'll find yourself in a quite isolated location; be prepared for longer travels if you want more. Luckily enough, the trainstation is only five minutes walk away and bus services stop at park entrance.

산으로 둘러싼 리조트 호수의 밤은 조용하고 편안한 마음을 들게 해주어 힐링 되는 기분을 느꼈다. 꼭 한번 가보시기를 추천 드린다.

A very pleasant Dormio resort in Obertraun, a good destination for trips to Hallstatt and at the same time to the Dachstein Glacier and all the attractions (glacier cave, mammoth cave, 5 fingers lookout). Friendly staff, excellent restaurant (breakfast, dinner). Modern accommodation, clean and well equipped (perhaps only the lack of toilet paper and the need to buy it was a rather unpleasant surprise in a resort of this quality). Otherwise, you are doing a good job.
