DormantFile files the annual paperwork every dormant UK limited company has to submit: dormant company accounts to Companies House and, where the company is registered for Corporation Tax, a nil CT600 return to HMRC. Non-trading companies with a few transactions on their books — most often a Bounce Back Loan being repaid — can't legally file as dormant, so we prepare FRS 105 micro-entity accounts for them instead, built from a handful of figures. We submit directly through the official government filing systems. Each filing takes about two minutes and needs no accounting knowledge: we generate the documents, submit them, track the result, and keep your filing records with printable receipts. If a filing is rejected, you can correct and resubmit free, as often as needed — your subscription covers every attempt. Plans start at £19 per year for one company, with multi-company and agent plans for accountants and formation agents managing portfolios. There's also a free Watchdog tier that monitors one company's deadlines without filing anything. Beyond filing, every account includes automatic accounts-deadline reminders calculated from Companies House data, daily register monitoring that flags strike-off action and filings you didn't make, optional one-click annual autopilot, an AI compliance assistant, and a guided company-closure journey when you're done. DormantFile was built by a UK founder after HMRC closed its free filing tool in March 2026, and is already compliant with the April 2028 software-only filing mandate.

This is an excellent website. Loads extremely fast, very clean and well designed. It knocks the socks off the other online filing software I've used (EasyDigitalFiling, Inform Direct, JustDormantAccounts, HMRC WebFiling) not to mention traditional accountants. I liked their honest comparison of their various competitors, definitely a breath of fresh air. I had a question and the developers answered very fast and are considering a feature request. Fairly priced for the service offered. I'm not one to leave reviews usually but this was an excellent experience so I'm happy to recommend.
