Quite disappointed with this site
Quite disappointed with this site. Messaged & Text 2 sellers on the site and no reply. My mum also messaged a seller and the same. I understand this is not the sites fault but I also contacted the site to see if the ads were legit and no reply. If the sellers dont reply I would assume the dog in question has been sold but the ad should be updated.
Prompt response to this review which was nice, hopefully measures put in place to keep the adverts up to date and encourage sellers to reply. Very frustrating when you have a genuine interest especially in older dogs

We completely understand how frustrating it is to message sellers and receive no response, especially when you're genuinely interested in a dog. While the individual sellers manage their own messages, we absolutely agree with you that listings should be kept up to date and the overall experience must be better.
We’re actively improving our systems to automatically expire outdated ads and encourage sellers to update or close listings once their dog is sold. Your feedback helps us identify exactly where improvements are needed.

No complaints as a seller, ads are a good price but their email reminders don’t seem to work - I didn’t know I got a message regarding the ad unless I went onto the website.

Put up my 4 dachshunds on Dogsy.ie and…
Put up my 4 dachshunds on Dogsy.ie and honestly, didn’t expect it to work so fast. Signed up, confirmed the email, made the ad and it was up in like 10-15 mins.
Got loads of calls, some serious people, some just trying to get a cheaper deal (sure that happens everywhere). Not the site’s fault at all.
Managed to sell all 4 in less than a week, which was great. Tried other sites before but this one defo worked best for me. Way easier and not as pricey either.
Would def recommend to anyone in Ireland trying to sell pups. Cheers lads.

Thanks for your review – but it’s important to clarify the facts.
Your listing couldn’t be approved because the microchip number you provided is already registered to another dog, and that record was last updated in 2023. Meanwhile, your ad stated the puppy was born in 2025. That kind of mismatch is a serious issue under Irish animal welfare rules.
We offered to help by correcting the birth date if you could provide accurate details, but we didn’t receive the correct information.
It’s worth noting – this kind of discrepancy won’t be accepted on any responsible platform, not just Dogsy.ie. Microchip details must match the puppy and must be valid.
Our €14.99 fee covers ID checks and verification to protect both buyers and animals. We can’t activate ads with incorrect or misleading data.
We’re more than happy to assist you if you still wish to update your ad properly.

Platform is very easy to use
Platform is very easy to use, I managed to rehome all 3 of my puppies within a matter of days and they all went to wonderful homes where I'm getting updates and clear communication. There was an issue with the microchip cert and the admin team helped out so so swiftly, it was genuinely a pleasure using this site. Thank a mill☺️
