Better choose a different courier company ... totally unreliable and overpriced services.

Unpleasant telephone customer service experience.
The lady on the phone I believe her job is to assist and resolve issues for the clients. Right?She was clearly not happy to assist , give directions or have a pleasant voice and tone. She had an agitated voice and not really in a mood to actually provide service.

I purchased skin care products in Korea, dhl is the courier. I had paid taxe for customs and I received an email from dhl that my parcel is detained by port health due to three skin products and they want declaration letter. Mind you the skin products they detained are not under an hazard as even our South African Takealot sells them. Reviews showed a lot of these incidents by dhl, please check your staff. I paid a lot of money for my skin products including the dhl courier fee and sars. Something is not right, not everyone can complain about same thing especially about international parcel with skin products that are not listed as red flag by SAHPRA. Tomorrow I will personally go to Port Health, I must get to the bottom of this, I want my parcel.

I ordered a fragile and really expensive package from Germany. It traveled from Klipphausen to Munich and then in Athens. In Athens they decided not to secure the pallets on the truck. They totally destroyed the package. This is the worst logistic service I can ever imagine. Totally unreliable

i expected a parcel from China to be delivered to Greece. The parcel Arrived and was handed to ACS for last mile delivery .The parcel delivered to me was someone else's by mistake of ACS or DHL and my parcel was lost and trying to find out where to find it for 2 days talking to chatbots that are untrained and phone calls -hope to find it one day

Trusted them with a guaranteed next day delivery from the UK, only to hold my package for 5 further days for clearance without any communication unless you push them for an answer. Never using them again. They take their own fee of 50 euros + the VAT and 3-7% customs charges (which are normal). What's the point of using DHL express when using a regular post carrier would take the same time. AVOID AVOID AVOID FOREVER.

They lost my parcel.
It was supposed to be delivered to the same city as me and they shipped it to Germany.by mistake as they stated.with a pre peinted shipping label and they lost it.still no answer.rude and insulting on the phone.
This will take the legal road soon!!

Incompetent and clearly don't care about customer service. I've sent an express envelop shipment yesterday to be delivered today internationally. Last night the shipment was on hold. Same this morning. I've had to contact customer service to find out why there is a delay. They informed me that I needed to send a copy of my ID, which I've subsequently done. Tried a number of times to get in touch with the relevant DHL employee dealing with my case, the customer service representative couldn't care less that the shipment is time sensitive and could not provide any further information. No one still called me back. If you have important documents to send avoid Athens DHL.

This company actively engages in EXTORTION of customers. People send packages overseas using DHL services, and Greek DHL holds packages hostage until the customer pays an extra 50 EURO for DHL to release the package, as a hidden fee in addition to the standard customs fees. This is unacceptable and should be illegal.

I sent a package from UK to Greece for 60£ including Christmas gifts for my family on the 15th of December. The package arrived on the 18th of December in Athens and until now (4th of January 2024) it has been stuck in customs clearance. We have been calling them to ask when the package will be delivered and we experienced the worst customer service, we were told that in order our package to leave from clearance we need to pay extra 53 euros and today (04/01/2024) that we called them again, they sent us an amount of 102 euros to pay for the package to be delivered. Not only the package got delayed for 3 weeks to be delivered, but also they changed at the last minute the price by doubling it after lying about it numerous times on the phone. It is the most unreliable company, the most unprofessional and with the worst customer service. It has been really frustrating sending Christmas gifts to your family and instead charging people for nothing. DHL customs clearance is unacceptable and I have never experienced such thing in other countries especially UK. My parents have sent me numerous times packages in the UK and in 3 days I received my parcel without any issues. This is stealing, taking advantage and earning money over people who try to survive in this so called country, GREECE. Unacceptable in any means.

I waiting one parcel from UK. From 21.12.23 its in Greece. Import office ask me EORI No and make authorisation on this. Ok, i do it. How ever total cost of box around 200 euro, dhl ask for clearance 180Euro. I need this parcel, so, ok. But after i give all necessary information they say that will charge also luxury taxes. For what?. I explain that all information whas given and they make mistakes in description and need change. DHL blackmail me - take other broker, we take this parcel on hold and you pay fees for every day from 28.12.23 (how ever last e-mail with information of extra fee was 30.12.23) and you will pay extra 10%. Or we send parcel back. When i call and ask to talk with some competitive they say - we just call centre. I think its unrespectful for customers. Shame for so big international company have so non professional staff.

They lost the first package from July. The second time around, the delivery was riddled with a lot of... to say it politely, strange and misleading information. On the phone they just gaslight you, until you agree to go pick it up yourself. Probably severely understaffed.

I was waiting for a package and asked for it to be sent faster because I was supposed to leave Greece. Upon many emails back and forth they said it would arrive on the upcoming Wednesday. It did not. We corresponded again and finally they told me to go pick it up myself at the airport office. I went there just to be told that it was not ready. They wasted my time, my money and I did not manage to get my package.

Now still waiting 10 days for an express letter from Germany.Has been charched 54 Euros for this sending. Inside are important documents. Tracking shows that after 2 days was in Athens. But then stopped there. I cannot get inforation when it will be in Corfu.

Worst delivery services and also they charge 54€ just for passing the mail from customs for a 28€ package..

Thank you DHL, Greece. Everyone has been great. Import’s Department, Officer Mr Kazaklis and their manager Mr Diamantis along with Distribution’s Department altogether, spent time and energy to assist me and have my parcel delivered as a matter of urgency. Their work ethic and problem solving skills are at the highest standards. Thank you all!

Worst company! Send my bag from Uk to Greece, and ask me to pay τελωνείο, when my bag was in Greece so i can't cancel that delivery
