It is with much regret that we are announcing the closure of Devon Valley Holiday Park on December 1, 2022. Following our eight months of ownership, we have concluded that the park, after 20 years of a visible lack of investment, is neither profitable nor reflective of the standards we want to offer guests. The park will not open for the 2023 season, and all bookings will be refunded. In these uncertain and difficult times, with a looming recession and the business facing a 300% increase in electricity costs, along with increasing staff costs, it has been regrettably concluded that to continue running this park in its current format is no longer viable. Devon Valley occupies a unique waterfront location in prime South Devon. It therefore has much potential moving forward. However, its current condition has resulted in high levels of customer complaints, and it fails to provide a holiday experience befitting of its beautiful location. We know that for many of you, this will be a shock, and we appreciate the importance Devon Valley has played in your family holidays over the years. We sincerely thank you for your business and support. If you have a booking for 2023, please get in touch with us at 0344 557 5100. Beautiful Location
Excellent holiday park with stunning views of the River Teign. Brilliant location for watching the sun go down. Helpful & friendly staff. Great accomodation and facilities including the bar, restaurant, entertainment lounge, swimming pool & on-site shop. An enjoyable walk into the nearby seaside village of Shaldon.

Well had a wonderful stay
Well had a wonderful stay! It was nice to bring our dog and not have worry about leaving him at home as he is a very inportant to our family! Had lots of lovely walks in the beach with him too! Service both staff and entertainment was brilliant! We will be coming back!

We stayed in the Otter bronze caravan
We stayed in the Otter bronze caravan, which had a few cob webs inside, but other than that it was cosy and well maintained. We would prefer separate changing cubicles in the swimming pool for a bit more privacy from other people. The Boathouse restaurant wasn’t as good as it was before, we went Half Board again which is always a great deal, but the waiters kept making a few errors this time. On the last night I decided to order a Half Board Supplement Banoffee Pie dessert and pay the extra £1.95, it did have a bad smell but I just thought it was the smell in the Boathouse; but as we were playing Bingo on the evening I rushed to the toilets and brought back up the Banoffee pie I ate, it was horrible.
The Evening entertainment was ok, we do love Morris, Millie, and Captain DV. The Bingo was great fun, although the one Entertainer Chloe did seem rude towards the other entertainer whilst he was calling out the bingo numbers. The show yesterday wasn’t good at all, although Lyndon has a fantastic voice but the other girls Chloe and Christina never sang at all, they were miming the words the whole time, and they looked like they didn’t know what they were doing, they looked quite awkward. You need two backing singers that actually sing in the team stars shows. Overall a great location with lovely memories, just needs a few little improvements, but we will still always come back to Devon Valley as it’s our favourite place, it’s like our second home :)

Just coming back from a 4 day break…
Just coming back from a 4 day break from Devon valley, accomodation cant fault but we stayed in gold plus caravan. Overpriced but good views of the beach.
Amenities tired on site, kids club poor. Food average.
Didn't try swiming pool after bad press on news even though they had all clear, didn't want to take the risk.
Overall average stay, with inexperience staff onsite.
