Very pretty piece of art

My daughter has been delighted by this idea.
The map is well done and very attractive.
The process was well followed by the firm Demurin (specially with two different adresses...) for a successful result.
As a suggestion, we would recommand to protect the corners of the frame with small plastic corners to avoid any dammage due to the numerous manipulations during transportation. In our case one corner was very slightly eroded. No big deal though.
Generally speaking, this was a nice experience.

The map was very beautifully crafted, it makes for a very elegant object. The only (minor) default I have to put forward is that the level of detail did not always correspond to what appeared on the virtual map when it was conceived on the website: for instance, one important landmark (one bridge) did appear on the virtual map on the website, but was not reproduced in the final object. Apart from this minor drawback, I was satisfied by the result.

I received my second map from Demurin. I love the result. They worked with me to get it like I wanted it. I wanted the map to show the course of the Ironman I did in Hamburg. Looking forward to my next map after my next race.

The maps that I have seen online are always a fun reminder of a place one has stayed or an important spot in one’s life. That is why I chose to get one made. The only challenge is if the place you choose is a very complex city such as Paris France a lot of the street detail can get lost as the material can only get so small. Overall, I am still happy with the item as the reminder of the place.

J’ai commandé trois cartes à la fois et je ne suis pas deçu. L’interface du site est très intiutive et le degré de personnalisation en fait des produits uniques. Superbe option pour les amateurs de cartes et de voyages.
