I joined this course after trying multiple programs, but within the first few days, I realized his teaching was completely different. He teaches everything from the ground up and builds each system one by one, regardless of where the student stands. That structure filled gaps I didn’t even know I had. He focuses on genuinely important concepts, frequently tested patterns, and high‑yield ideas Step 1 repeatedly asks. His explanations were clear, and I remembered concepts because I understood them, not because I memorized them.

His Microbiology notes and high‑yield hub were extremely helpful, and he guided us on how to study in a structured, sustainable way without sacrificing sleep. Even after the course, he was always reliable and supportive, and he adjusted my study plan based on my progress and difficulties. He guided me step‑by‑step and was patient, realistic, and consistent throughout.

His approach made UWorld and First Aid feel organized and manageable. My UWorld and NBME scores improved significantly after his lectures. He asked questions throughout teaching, which helped us recall and apply concepts across systems. By the end, everything felt connected, and I realized how much I truly understood.

His guidance changed my mindset toward Step 1 preparation, and I found myself studying with more clarity and balance. My confidence grew as my knowledge grew, and my scores reflected that. I can say without hesitation that his guidance played a key role in my passing Step 1. He always puts in his 100% and is committed to his students’ success.

I cannot say enough positive things about Delphi USMLE and Dr. Roy. He played an instrumental role in guiding and shaping my studies as I prepared for — and ultimately passed — Step 1! After going through other Step 1 prep courses required by my school I can truly say Dr. Roy’s course is superior to the rest.

What helped me most was his structured scheduling, clear and focused review, and his ability to keep everything simple and manageable. Coming from a Caribbean medical school background, this was the complete opposite of how I was trained during basic sciences, and it completely transformed my mindset.

Because of Dr. Roy, my study habits, confidence, and overall approach to medicine have permanently changed for the better. The Delphi USMLE course made a significant difference in how I approached my CBSE and Step preparation. Dr. Roy's course is extremely structured and high-yield, which helped me organize overwhelming amount of material for Step 1. What I appreciated most was how Dr. Roy focused on understanding mechanisms rather than memorizing isolated facts. I usually don’t write reviews, but I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit where credit is due. Dr. Roy’s passion for teaching and ability to tie everything together is remarkable. It was a privilege to learn from him. Hold on to his every word, and you are guaranteed to pass. I adhered to his study schedule including—waking up early, exercising, and going to bed early. He filled many knowledge gaps and gave me the confidence to overcome imposter syndrome and my fear of exams. My NBME predictions went from a 52% chance of passing to a 94% chance, and I passed the USMLE on the first try yesterday. I am forever indebted to the Amazing Dr. Roy.

I did step1 course in October,2023 with Dr.Roy… Truly it’s gem and worth money… The timetable will keep you in sane and discipline for sure that you will definitely end up finishing everything in 6weeks.. You will be motivated through out the course and Dr.Roy will be with you till the day of your exam.. I would recommend 10/10..

I started my journey with delphi program and Dr. Roy for COMP and step 1 in January 2023. It was one of my best decisions. The way the program was structured gave students time to learn as well as take care of themselves during this journey. Dr. Roy approaches the program with great enthusiasm, dedication, and has great expertise in prepping for the USMLE. He breaks each topic down and makes sure you understand it well. The course is structured with limited students; and he encourages students to participate and engages them in discussions to better enhance the learning. In my personal experience, Delphi and Dr. Roy have gone above and beyond to help me reach my goal. I was taking my exam during Christmas holidays and Dr. Roy made sure to answer all my questions leading up to my exam. He definitely cares about his students growth and gives personal attention to each one. I would highly recommend the program to all students preparing for USMLE and/or COMP from all background and countries.

When I contacted Dr Roy, I had failed school CBSE and didn’t have an idea of what to do next. But, after speaking to Dr Roy before the course had even started, he gave me the courage to re-start my prep again. Delphi USMLE course is taught so well by him. I enjoyed and looked forward to attending class every morning. He does an amazing job of teaching each concepts in such a way that you will not only understand every aspect of the concepts but also be able to remember it long term. His way of teaching and explaining concepts is just so unique. Post the course, he keeps in touch with you and will meet you throughout until you pass CBSE and STEP 1. He guides you thru each practice NBMEs, meets with you religiously and tracks your progress. I not only passed CBSE but I also just received my STEP 1 PASS two days ago and all credit goes to Dr Roy. He guided, encouraged and believed in me when I didn’t. He pushed me. I am so grateful that I was introduced to this course and I owe my passing to Dr Roy. I highly highly recommend this course to everyone who are looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.

The discussions from class were highly relevant to the STEP 1. In-depth knowledge of the content would surely help with the bulk of the questions. I could not thank Dr. Roy and Delphi enough for my success on step 1. My story is a little different but here it goes...coming out of my medical sciences from Ross University I was having personal hardships. I was at an all time low and my confidence had been shot. I tried many many different review programs from USMLEagle to OnlineMedEd and continued to fail the comp exam over 5 times. This is when I researched review programs on my own and found Delphi. The first conversation I had with Dr. Roy was the most motivating and promising discussion I had since medical school. After being out of medical school for 2 years, I attended Dr. Roy's 6 week online course and I learned information in a way I had never learned it before. He provided me with daily schedules, checked in with me frequently, was readily available when contacted, and helped me regain confidence in myself. Dr. Roy strictly depends on FirstAid and Uworld. The motivational talks Dr. Roy would give were so inspiring and made me realize that medicine is really for me. After following Dr. Roy's guidelines I finally passed step 1 on my first attempt. I never thought I would see the day I would receive a passing score report. If you are facing any troubles at all or just don't know how to study for step 1 Delphi is your program. I would advise everyone to attend this course for a successful outcome. Again Dr. Roy thank you for making my dream come true. 1000000% recommend Delphi to anyone preparing to sit for Step 1.

OMG!!! I just received my results today and I passed! Thank GOD for Dr. Roy! I am so grateful I joined this class.

Dr. Roy is by far the best teacher I have ever had. He is able to explain very complicated concepts in such simple terms. His method of teaching is so efficient as he gives you a detailed plan of what you have to do everyday. He is also able to connect the gap between disciplines and explain the how instead of just blindly memorizing.

He uses a combination of Uworld and First Aid throughout the 6 weeks. Then, he gives you homework so you are still keeping up with the material after the class. He is really invested in His students and the results is evident in our passing grades. He also provides practical advice and mentorship throughout your session till you pass the exams.

After taking this class, my viewpoint on the exams, Medicine and life in general is greatly enhanced.

He really prepares you to pass but you have to put in work. From reading to being strict in following the schedule and staying diligent.

He’s a great mentor as well. He is with you from Day 1 until the day of the exam. Every step of the way.

Overall, the experience was eye opening and would recommend to everyone preparing for Step 1.

I did the step 1 prep starting in August 2021 and a year later I can say I comfortably passed step 1 and got a good step 2 score. The material in step 1 is the very basics of medicine which I'd forgotten after 6 years of medical school, so taking the course helped refresh all of that in addition to actually understanding most of the stuff I'd just memorized first year of med school.
The material is presented very clearly with an emphasis on understanding it so that it's not just memorizing but actually acquiring the knowledge, which long term is better for making step 2 and 3 less difficult (work smarter not harder, memorizing everything is impossible).
I'd recommend the course if you need a solid launching pad of knowledge towards the whole USMLE experience so that you have a good base you can later build on yourself

When I moved to the US as an IMG, studying for step 1 was BRUTAL. Although, I was a great medical student securing very good grades, I had to go back to my basics after 6 years of entire medical education! My basics were rusty and I had to do it all by myself with no proper guidance on how to move forward with this career defining exam. There was lot's of information on the internet and lots of resources which was overwhelming. I gave in my best and yet I was not successful in my practice exams. It was then I figured to take help from Dr. Roy (Delphi) which was the best decision of my life. Dr. Roy was not just an amazing teacher but also a great mentor. He focused on two main resources for step 1 (First aid and Uworld) and taught us to identify clues on the questions which would help us pick the right answer. He strengthened my knowledge and also built my test taking strategies. He mentored me from day 1 to until the day I successfully passed my Step 1. Dr. Roy gave me the right direction and guided in each step of my journey, which I will be forever grateful for. If you are like me, overwhelmed in a foreign country with no proper guidance - THIS IS THE COURSE YOU NEED IN YOUR LIFE!

Dr. Roy is a phenomenal teacher! He literally goes through the entire First Aid and makes sure that the class has a good understanding of the complex and high yield topics. He was very patient and made it very easy to grasp the difficult concepts. He also integrated UWorld questions while going through first aid, and this helped to improve my understanding and knowledge of concepts we went over. I especially appreciated that Dr. Roy would also make time for his students outside of the class if they ever needed help going over a topic. I don’t think I would have done as well on my exam as I did if it were not for the guidance of Dr. Roy. I would highly recommend this program to anyone preparing for step 1.

Attending Dr Roy's classes was a great experience for me. I earlier started doing Uworld questions but had difficulty reading first aid. His lectures made first aid very easy to read, helped me have a firm grip and understanding of the concepts. I saw my scores increase 89% after the course. I recommended Dephi to my sister who also had a similar experience taking the class. If you are starting out your Usmle prep, you want to have a good basic science foundation having difficulty with first aid, need a good review before your exam, I highly recommend Dephi tutors.

Dr. Roy is very knowledgable and makes learning difficult concepts easy. He really understands the USMLE Step 1 exam and tailors his course to the exam. After taking his course you will feel comfortable with many concepts and comfortable with approaching board style questions. His teaching style is engaging and interactive, and he also tailors his approach to the type of student you are. He is always available to help and he goes out of his way for his students. I would definitely recommend this course if you have the time!

Stating that this is a "great" USMLE Step 1 prep course is an understatement! It is more than that. The motivation Dr. Roy has to not only help students review the necessary high yield topics for the exam, but also to actually make sure they are grasping the material well, is admirable. There is no such thing as a dumb question here, making it such a comfortable environment to learn and clear up any confusion one may have. Also, the constant reminder of- consistency, hard work and patients- is important to keep in mind to not give up once you have begun, and you will for sure see results you may have thought unimaginable. The passion Dr. Roy has for teaching medicine is really projected onto the students and continues to motivate in pursuing quit a difficult carrier path.
