Buyer Beware: They Switched Delivery Addresses Without Notice
After delaying the requested return of my MacBook Air by several days, Decluttr sent it back (they also offered <10% of their online estimate, but that isn't the issue).
They did not send it to my home address (or if they did, they couldn't say so): they sent it to my PO box, without notifying me until 12+ hours later. The laptop was tracked per UPS to arrive at my house and was listed as "out for delivery" but never made it out of the facility.
Decluttr made no effort to contact me: I found they had been negligent when the "out for delivery" package did not arrive.
My Post Office has not received the laptop, and if it does, it will be difficult to retrieve, as Post Offices explicitly do not want packages like this sent to their boxes.
After I asked for the name and phone number of their CS manager, I heard nothing. Except "We cannot be held liable", which is untrue, as companies that engage in deceptive business practices can always be held liable.
I hope this is not a typical experience, but reviewing some of the other reviews, it seems as if it may be. If you try to sell your tech stuff to Decluttr, it may not be returned if you don't like their offer. Look elsewhere.

Do not use
I do not recommend this company to anybody. I shipped on my games to declutter waited 3 to 4 weeks and then was told but there was a problem and it was under review and I wouldn't be paid until the review was over. Only then did I mention I was getting an attorney involved and you guys paid me that day do not use this company.........

Decluttr Offers the Best, Fastest Service
This would be my third experience using Decluttr and as great as it was previously, they truly went above and beyond this time!
There was a problem regarding the quantity I sent them and what they thought they received. I dreaded the though that I had to prove what I sent and I feared it would just be one delay and headache after another. Two emails later and within two days, the problem was solved and I received my money via direct deposit.
I would never even think of using any other service. Decluttr is the best.

Declutter is easy to use
Declutter is easy to use. The app is great to use, user friendly. and the scanning function works well with only a few exceptions when it can not read the bar codes.
My biggest complaint is that they are highly selective in what they purchase, and won't buy all the CDs I had in my collection to sell. They will buy some CDs from an artist but not others. Overall, worth using but expectations should be managed.

Be very careful
I sent in multiple dvds and was owed approximately $9.00. I originally listed my PayPal account as the payment method but received an email from Decluttr that the payment did not go through and that I should update my payment method. I updated my payment method to direct deposit to my checking account, and then sent Decluttr an email stating that my payment method was updated. Over a month went by and I heard nothing. I sent 3 emails requesting payment. Finally I received a response - which made no sense. Decluttr is claiming that it will not process the payment I am due through my checking account because I originally selected PayPal and therefore they will only process payment through PayPal. But Decluttr was the one who sent me the first email telling me to change my payment method. In any case, I no longer have a PayPal account. So now Decluttr refuses to process my payment and refuses to return the 30+ dvds I sent in. This is such a scam! It’s bad enough they pay pennies on the dollar but now to scam someone out of $9.00 is just outrageous.
Update Jan. 23:
Even their response to my review is outrageous. I provided my checking account information, at their request, and was told they would “manually” process the payment that way…still nothing. All talk but no action.
Update Jan. 30:
I truly believe that I never would have received my money if I had not started complaining on line and threatening legal action. What I was put through for $9.00 was ridiculous and outrageous. If you have CDs and DVDs you want to get rid of, I highly recommend reaching out to your local library and asking if it takes donations. That’s what I did after this horrible experience. Not only did I help my community by donating my used DVDs, but I received a letter from the library that I will use for tax purposes. I will be able to get a tax deduction for my charitable donation to the library that will far exceed the pittance I got back from Decluttr.

I got the notice of purchase very…
I got the notice of purchase very quickly along with the UPS label for shipping. I tracked the shipment and found that for some reason it had not reached them in over three weeks. I let them know and they filed a claim and paid me for the shipment.
