I had a very disappointing experience with Dawah Travels. I booked an Umrah trip through them, which was ultimately cancelled due to geopolitical issues affecting flights with Emirates, as my itinerary included a layover in Dubai. While I understand that cancellations can happen due to circumstances beyond a company’s control, the way this situation has been handled afterward is completely unacceptable.
It has now been over a month since my trip was cancelled, and I still have not received my refund. I have reached out multiple times and, each time, I am told that the refund will be processed “within a week.” Unfortunately, this has repeatedly proven to be untrue.
Additionally, I was required to make my payment via Zelle, with no alternative payment methods offered. Because of this, I have no ability to dispute or reverse the transaction through my bank, which makes this situation even more concerning.
What’s even more concerning is that I am not alone; many other customers have reported experiencing the same delays and lack of transparency. The consistent lack of follow-through and communication has made this process extremely frustrating and stressful.
I strongly urge anyone considering booking with this company to proceed with caution. At the very least, there needs to be more accountability, clearer communication, and timely handling of customer refunds.

I have a great experience with Dawah Travels during this critical situation of gulf countries and umrah travelers.
They have provided excellent services and money savings actions particular to my umrah travel needs.

This was my second trip with Dawah Travels.
Excellent communication and details with brother Abdul Raheem.
There were some issues with my first trip in October 2025 with ground transportation but overall good experience.
Second trip March 2026 was only a land package and the ground transportation and hotel accommodations were excellent.
They also booked my train transfer for Makkah-madinah-Jeddah with no issues.
Future bookings will definitely go back with them and now am more familiar with with what hotels to ask for given service and proximity to the mosques and overall ratings of the hotels.
This was a last minute trip and I was very happy with fast turn around of visa for my dad, all reservations and overall service. Prompt communication/support and responses to issues/details and verification.

Terrible experience! I was very confident in booking a trip with this company since the representatives were helpful. They then cancelled my trip due to the war which I can understand. But after when I try to reach out for a refund or at least credit they completely ignore me. I still can’t get in contact with someone or get any update as far if I will be reimbursed for my cancelled trip. Highly recommend to NOT use their services. Should of known when they asked for payment through Zelle.

I've had a very disappointing experience with this company. I strongly caution others to be careful with doing business with this company and avoid making the same mistake which was doing business by Zelle with them. Unfortunately after recent events, a family friend had to cancel their trip. Since then, they have repeatedly requested a refund, but their messages have been ignored and they have not received their money back. Zelle offers zero protection when it comes to situations like this so it is unfortunate. Not a good way to do business!

They canceled my trip, ignored me and stole my money. It was very easy to book a trip with them. They were very nice and convincing to earn my business. Even spoke to me as if we were family and brothers of the same religion to gain my trust.

These thieves ask me to pay by Zelle. Won't accept debit or credit card which has buyer protection from FRAUDULANT transactions.
I was wrong for trusting them to lure me into paying with Zelle. They canceled my bookings, and won't return my money.
They are aware Zelle is like paying someone cash.

My experience with Dawah Travels was truly excellent. The hotel accommodations were great, the service was outstanding, and their quick responses made the entire process effortless. We performed our Medinah and Makkah supplications, Umrah, and prayers inside each of the harams (walking distance)

We consumed most if not all of our time being close to both harams inside both premises.

I had an excellent experience with Dawah Travels for my Umrah journey. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. A special thanks to Brother M. Omer, whose communication skills are outstanding—clear, prompt, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. He always responds almost instantly which made me panic one Friday when he didn’t respond. I got so worried but his partner called me immediately when he saw all my missed calls and informed me they were at the Jummah prayer and gave me his whatup number. what a relief! I told them I panicked because I never had to wait even five minutes and he said to me ‘ sister be patient you are in good hands’ it was so reassuring to me. It was just too good to be true. They connected me with Murshad umrah but they always made sure I was in every zoom meeting or webinars.

They provided great support with the visa, planned my connecting flights to Riyadh perfectly, and made sure there were no issues at any stage. The hotels in Makkah and Madinah were excellent, very comfortable, and most importantly extremely close to Al-Haram, which made worship easy and stress-free.
