Bugs, I spend more time working around the bugs in the software than I spend working on the reports. Not 100% true, but it almost seems like it. What's an appraiser to do, you need this tool, it does save time.

I would recommend DataMaster to any appraiser who wants to cut down on time for every appraisal. Also, the 1004MC data capture tool is great!!!!

It saves me so much time. Occasionally it will download data that is incorrect into the market conditions form, such as saying there are 4 competing listings, when there are 3, and I have only checked 3 for export. That is the only reason I don't give 5 stars. Excellent customer service.

A LOT OF THE INFORMATION IS PUT IN THE WRONG PLACES ON THE GRID FOR THE SUBJECT.

Datamaster was working well until the MLS in our area switched from Trend to Bright. Since then there have been many of issues and inconsistencies when importing sales data.

When adding comparables to a report the entire first page of entrees vanishes. This make datamaster worthless as it takes more time to re type the first page of report. SFREP is my software.

DataMaster is a huge time saver for me. It cuts down about an hour on the time required to type up an appraisal. Since it transfers the data of the subject property and each comparable sale as it appears in the MLS and/or the county tax records, it eliminates the chance for typos/errors in data transfer which can often happen when typing everything by hand. Signing up for DataMaster four years ago was one of the smartest things I did for myself and my appraisal work. It has more than paid for itself and I don't think I could go back to doing it the "old" way again.

Utilize the software almost every day. Not only does it save time but it improves accuracy which leads to fewer revision requests. Top notch product that every appraiser should try.
