I was in the market for a wardrobe refresh and Daniel and his team delivered beyond all expectations. Daniel and team made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and nailed my personal style while helping me to push my boundaries as well. Most importantly, I feel like a million bucks in my new clothes.

Best suits ever!!

True story. I’m a 44 year old bald, frumpy, divorced father of two...with dad bod.

I bought two suits. The day I first wore my bespoke suit, I kid you not, I was getting out of an Uber. A beautiful woman 10-15 years my junior walked by. She looked back three times and mouthed “NICE!!!”

Second true story.
I wore this same suit on a first date. That woman is now my girlfriend. She’s 6’ tall, 120 lbs, blonde and lives in Winetka. I’m sure my charming personality had something to do with it. I’m also certain that looking great on our first date led to the second date.

After those two experiences let me ask you this...do you REALLY think I’d EVER buy a suit anywhere else?

Worth it!

Let me break everything down:
1) Knowledge / Expertise: Daniel and his team are very knowledgable on how to make people look good. Felt like he balanced current trends and classic styles to delivery an amazing suit that will fit the current time yet be timeless and not go out of style quickly.
2) Fit: The most important part! Never have been an "off the rack" kind-of guy (tall at 6'7"). For any guys like me, spend the extra money to have a tailor-made and perfect fitting suit.
3) Customization: Colors, style, lining, personalized interior name tag all add special touches for a custom suit.
4) Experience: It takes multiple visits (initial consultation and fittings) to make a custom suit. Communication and scheduling was very simple. Daniel was always very prompt about when my meeting started. Also was a nice touch to always be offered beverages (including whiskey, even if it was 11:00am).
5) Cost: After getting over the initial sticker shock, you realize that the product you are getting is worth the price.

Overall I would recommend Daniel to everyone. This was my first purchase with him (one suit, two shirts, two ties) and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Can't wait to add additional pieces to my closet!

I normally don’t write these reviews but felt compelled to after my experience. Daniel was very friendly, professional, and made me feel at home when I was getting fitted. He took the time to get to know me and how to ensure that everything fit like a glove. I am so in love with the end product, that I will be getting all of my dress shirts and suits from him directly. Daniel is simply the best. I came to DG as I never felt comfortable nor confident in the off the rack clothing in my wardrobe. From my very first meeting I knew that Daniel was the designer and stylist for me. He took the time to understand me personally and gave many suggestions, always being mindful of the boundaries of my fashion boldness. We agreed on some selections and had follow-up fittings with his excellent staff to ensure that I was happy.

Since meeting Daniel in March I've purchased 2 suits, 4 sport coats, 5 trousers and 10 shirts. The highest personal compliment I can give is that I never hesitate when selecting what to wear, regardless of the situation. Ever. It is so refreshing to assemble an outfit with zero worry. The best unsolicited compliments for Daniel George are the ones I receive in London and NYC.

DG nailed suit #2, no surprise. Suit came in and after my fitting I had to head to the airport. I needed to have the suit when I got back to town but wouldn't be able come back to pick it up... so Daniel and Mike dropped it off at home for me while I was out of town. Ballers.

These guys exhibit professionalism, knowledge and understanding. They listen to and respond to the individual they're outfitting. They bring ideas in a range you can work with. They're respectful, they're current, and have just the right amount of swagger to make you confident they will make you look your best. They've got great style and they're a lot of fun work with.

I went to Daniel George initially to order some shirts because when I found them online I realized they were very close to my office. Their service, selection and price were so good that I have not only ordered more shirts but I have ordered two suits and a sport coat within the last few months. Justin has been very helpful and has assisted me in updating my wardrobe. Their tailor shop is also outstanding. I highly recommend them.

I received my first Daniel George suit fitting as a Christmas gift a few years ago and love it so much that I have gone on to purchase 5 more suits (AND a tuxedo) and have donated every other suit I own. We purchased (2) custom suits, (2) dinner jackets, and custom shirts from Daniel George for our September wedding in California. We are new clients and came in for our consultation mid-summer, with JUST enough time (actually, NOT enough time!) for such a tall order. DG and his team made it happen, even with last minute tailoring and shirt changes to be completed before we had to leave. Each one of the team members at DG, including Daniel himself, were friendly and more than accommodating. They really went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be happier with the results.
