I was in search of a new suit - specifically for attending a family wedding but also for business use. I wanted to use a local tailor capable of made-to-measure; after doing a good amount of online research I found Daniel George. I sent them an email to request an appointment, I remember it was a Sunday evening, Daniel got back to me within an hour. He asked some introductory questions about my current suits, preferences, etc. When I went to meet with Daniel, he took great care to show me wool swatches, inside lining samples, and talk about details. I had gone in with the mindset of a custom suit, but Daniel spent the time to have me try on an off-the-rack suit he had in the shop. He gave a very honest appraisal that the fit was quite good, and would require very little alteration. This was quite refreshing as there was absolutely no pressure toward the custom path, which has a price difference. I can tell he was interested in making sure I had a good buying experience and that his product would exemplify fit and quality, and not just make a sale. I did end up choosing the custom suit path, especially for the choices of linings. However, I would certainly return for the off-the-rack option since I know that may work well, a custom sport coat or blazer, or just another custom suit. This shop, Daniel, and his team are real professionals and it shows. Strongly recommend for gents to check this place out - especially if you want a quality garment and want to spend the $$ to get it right. One note, please understand that the custom suit does take time, budget about 6 weeks between the first meeting and measurements to final alterations and finished product.

I really loved my experience at Daniel George Custom Suits! I was very impressed by the environment. It would be a place that I felt comfortable. I loved the colors and the choice of furniture he curated in his office. It really did not feel like an office or a showroom, it felt more like a very nice walk-in closet that you would have in your home, or even a living room that you could take a seat, have a cigar and a nice scotch. Daniel George himself was very professional when I met him for the first time, but it was not a cold type of professionalism, rather he exuded warmth in his personality and was very friendly and attentive to my wardrobe needs. I was very new to the whole process, but he graciously walked me through the whole thing and got me started in the initial starting package. The measurements were taken quickly and he did a very thorough job with making sure each measurement was exact. He took a ton of measurements! It was many more than I was expecting! The final product was amazing and felt very good on my frame and fit me perfectly. Obviously the first time I tried on the garment, it needed some small adjustments, but many of them were a matter of taste. The suit came out close to perfect before the first fitting! I highly recommend Daniel George if you are getting into custom suits for the first time or are looking for an entirely new wardrobe!

Sharp suit with great customer service. My suit fits perfectly and I always receive a million compliments. Daniel and his staff explained all of the adjustments they were baking into my suit so that it fit my body shape, posture, arm length, etc. They also suggested specific fabrics and colors based on my personal style and complexion. I had a million questions and I appreciate their patience.

I wanted this to be a home run. There were some stumbles and miscommunciations. The fit was a little off for my tastes and the communication regarding french cuffs never got there the first time, which threw off the fit of the jacket. Ultimately, things were made right and the suits, ties, and shirts are fantastic and get great comments. I think next time I should be more clear about how I want things to be .
