Coming from a background in Cyber security already I wanted to enhance my confidence and skills and learn new ways of working I came across Charlie course and I got sold straight away from the point this course is not vendor driven rather it gives you the real world skills you need in the working place and what is actually required. The course from start to finish covered all aspects of devsecops with a strong focus on security and using real life examples. Charlie is super efficient and friendly and covers all the topics with examples in great details and he is ever so friendly if you dont understand something he uses up his time to help you understand. It has really helped me with my confidence, knowledge and also knowing where I want to go. The 1-2-1 are so crucial and is excellent in knowing your own level of development and Charlie really makes it like so comprehensively about you and in detail too. It really helps you to focus on what you need to do going forward. The extra projects we are also doing helps understand the topics and concepts and he dedicates his time on weekends for that. Really happy to do this bootcamp and would recommend anyone to do it if you are starting or experienced even in the cyber world and want your cyber career to make a difference in devsecops. For anyone thinking to do this bootcamp, dont overthink it just do it you will enjoy this and you be looking forward to the classes each week. I took my laptop with me on holiday just to join the course and that is a first for me.

Solid foundation in DevSecOps, the bootcamp was very comprehensive and challenging for someone beginner like myself ,I learned a lot especially on the technical side ,Charlie knows how to cut off all the rubbish bringing up to date content that gonna be useful for future roles in DevSecOps.

For a while I’ve been meaning to get into cybersecurity or IT in general but lacked the prober boot camp and mentor that could help and develop me until I came across cyberagoge. The boot camp is a brilliant as it incorporates the theories and the real life scenarios of devsecops. Hes taught me how to push code, how to use different infrastructures such as AWS, Docker, Gith, VSC how to deploy EC2. I’ve learned the general cyber security principles.

This bootcamp will have you have an end goals and deadlines which will be beneficial for you. I doubt there’s any better mentors out there with level of efficiency and experience in this sector of DEVSECOPS.

I was part of the January Cohort, I really enjoyed getting good insight into what it is like to be in this role. Coming from a computer science background I think the cyber security content covered is really good and Charlie does a good job outlining what you need to learn as there can be soo much within cyber security.

Currently, building projects using Terraform, Docker and Github Actions running various security scans... still developing. You hear about them all the time but using them from a security point of view definitely gives you a better understanding of each of them and perspective of how they all fit in together.

Also, having your own pathway so you can just focus on what you need to do and not what others are doing is really handy.
