The last revision that was made you guys really nailed our looks and the song was really good. We loved it! However, and I don’t know if it was because it was a final revision that it was there on purpose but the audio cut out several times. You have my permission once you read this to edit out the last 2 sentences because we really loved it!

I recently had this created for my husband and I'm very happy with the final result!
It took a few attempts to get everything just right, but the team was incredibly patient, professional and accommodating throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, and they were always polite and understanding of my requests and changes.
Most importantly, they listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly what I had invisioned. I really appreciate the time and effort they put in to making it special.

I really wanted to love this service. I purchased a Custom Love Story video as an anniversary gift for my husband and later purchased the custom song add-on as well. Unfortunately, the experience became incredibly frustrating.

The first video I received wasn't even our story. From there, I went through revision after revision...probably around 10 versions altogether. There were repeated issues, including incorrect details, requested changes not being made, our young daughter being depicted as a teenager, mismatched storytelling and visuals, and even portions of a version with no sound.

I also purchased their custom song after receiving a sample. Their email specifically said they would “revise for free until you love it.” I submitted my requested revisions, they confirmed they were working on them, and I never received the revised song. Weeks later at this point and not a single revision.

Eventually, I was simply done with revisions and requested a refund for both purchases.

This is where my biggest problem with the company began.

Their website currently states that if the film still doesn't feel right after a revision, they refund 100% of your purchase, “No questions asked.” I have gone through FAR more than one revision.

Even more importantly, their customer service representative specifically told me in writing that if I still didn't like the video after another round of changes, “we'll take care of a refund for you.”

I still didn't like it. I requested the refund.

Instead of issuing it, they continued sending revisions I was no longer asking for.

I have now requested my refund repeatedly through multiple emails and their contact form. At one point I received an automated email telling me my request had been “handled.” It had not—I still had no refund. I replied specifically stating that my request had NOT been handled because I still had not received my refund.

I've even directly asked whether the refunds were actually being processed. Rather than confirming that they were, I was told they were “working on it” and would update me.

As of October 20, after yet another explicit refund request, I've once again been told the issue has been “escalated to management.”

I have also repeatedly asked to speak with an actual human and have been unable to do so. Many of the responses I've received appear to be automated/AI responses.

At this point, my issue isn't that I didn't love the creative product, even though I didn't. It's that the company advertises a very clear money-back guarantee, personally reiterated that guarantee to me in writing, and has still not honored my repeated refund requests.

I gave them many opportunities to make the product right. I then gave them many opportunities to honor the refund they promised. I shouldn't have to dispute a transaction with my financial institution to receive a refund that a company explicitly advertises.

If Custom Love Story actually processes my refunds, I will gladly update this review to reflect that. Until then, I unfortunately cannot recommend this company.

I paid Custom Love Story for a personalized video and never received it. I haven’t received a refund either. What was supposed to be a meaningful, special gift turned into a frustrating disappointment. Taking someone’s money without delivering the product or returning the payment is unacceptable. I feel scammed and would not recommend this company. I want a full refund.

Absolutely loved the finished result. So happy with it. The support team also were very helpful and messaged back quickly to keep me up to date with any changes that I requested. So happy . Great experience. Many thanks. Would highly recommend 👌 🥰

Amazing. I love it

I paid for the 90 second video with 3 extra scenes. I received a 60 second video with 1 extra scene. The video was just okay. It didn't seem like a real personal gift. After a few revision attempts i asked for a refund. I sent several requests over the course of about a week and a half. I kept being told it was being handled. Today I received an email that said they cant issue the refund. Their website says that they offer a 100% money back guarantee if you're not absolutely thrilled with your video-no questions asked. Thats not true. Its a hassle to try and get your money back and all they do is ask questions Ive already answered.

Awful. Wrote extensive story notes and the movie was nothing like it. Told revisions would be received in 24-48 hours but even a more after numerous attempts to reach out through today, no substantive response received, not even answering final requests for a refund. Now
Going through credit card company. NB: Same company as Sketch Me Up.

I took a chance on creating this. I always knew we had an interesting story and it would be fun to see it on screen, so I asked chat to recommend a good one for me to try. This was chat's top choice. I expected the worse and was hugely surprised at how good and accurate it really was. The revisions were on point and not very many of them. It was a great experience watching the video. The only issue was that I only received one response to 3 of my email inquiries. I'm not sure if that is a me thing or them. I had to keep checking the website for updates. Still waiting on my custom song though. But highly recommend getting the video.

This company was TOP NOTCH!! They took my precious love story as seriously as I did. They were committed to making the video PERFECT, no matter how many revisions I made. I give this company my highest recommendation. I am going to tell ALL my friends and family to create their own.

In general, the video is great. I appreciate that I had unlimited revisions because there were things that they just got wrong (like having the control cluster in the back seat of a car, and a door knob on one side of the door- but the door opened on the other side). Also, each time I requested a change in a scene, there were other unexpected changes made to that scene (unrequested)… facial hair would disappear, backgrounds would change. The most frustrating was a scene where I am in a car and the steering wheel is on the wrong side. I requested it to be corrected AT LEAST a half dozen times and it never was. I finally gave up.

The rest of the experience was pretty good, the representation of us is good, the song incorporates things that are important to us and the scenes are detailed. The end result will be something my husband enjoys.

They are very responsive and sent my revisions at least once a day. I know they’re using AI to create this- my suggestion is that at some point a person review it to ensure the requests are accommodated and make sense.

Absolutely can recommend this Company 100%. The completed video brought tears to our eyes.
We changed it so many times until it was perfect for my husband and I. There was no extra charge for this at all. A stunning keepsake for us.
