I had been shopping for the right set of rims and tires for months. I finally decided to click the "Ask about this product" and that put me in touch with a rep named Dustin. He was extremely helpful in helping me decide what size would work for my truck, put together a custom package for me to order from, and even sent a picture of my rims and tires before they were shipped. Absolutely outstanding customer service, as well as a great selection of products.

Son ran off road killed Rockstar Wheel that was on truck when we bought it! Called in talk to someone got excellent help and an exact match. Overnight shipping too. Your company gets 5 stars from me and saved in my favorites on my PC.

This was the second time that I have dealt with Custom Automotive and it most certainly will not be the last.
During my search for aftermarket wheels and tires for my truck, I came across quite a few websites and online dealers, but nobody came close to delivering the service and knowledge of the industry like Custom Automotive.
In speaking with Dustin and Tim, I came away very confident that I was getting the setup for my truck that I was looking for. They answer the phone when you call with questions (something that competitors sometimes take DAYS to do) and have went above and beyond in delivering excellent customer service.
I am a big supporter of small business and with how they have greatly exceeded my expectations, I will call them before I call any other company when purchasing any items for my vehicle.

First off all, let me say that I have never written a review of anything I have bought, online or otherwise. Which is odd, because I depend very heavily on other people's reviews when researching a purchase. Secondly, I want to make it clear that I am a real customer, not some plant the company has put out there to say great things about them and their service.

Ok, now for the review. I began my research for wheels and tires for my 2003 Silverado 2500HD(crew cab, diesel) last spring. I had read in a forum that Mr Wheel Deal was the cheapest place I was going to find what I needed. I emailed them back and forth and ultimately received the information that I needed, but wasn't thrilled with the interaction. I decided I would take the risk and order, but I wanted to call and talk to someone first just to make sure that everything was right. I couldn't find a working number to actually get a hold of someone. I don't think they do any type of phone communication. I immediately changed my mind, because if there was a problem, I certainly didn't want to depend on email to voice my concerns.

Back to the research phase. I hit up all the tire shops in my (relatively small) town, but most could not get the stuff I wanted and the prices on what they could get were pretty high. Then I stumbled across Custom Automotive online. I decided just to call them right off the bat (to ensure that they are real people that I can talk to if needed). Dustin answered the phone and was polite, patient and extremely informative. I had read other reviews that praised Dustin so I thought I was pretty lucky that he answered the phone. When I told him this, he said that pretty much all the wheel and tire orders go through him at some point anyway, but I still felt fortunate. I had questions regarding fitment and offset/backspacing and even asked about advantages and disadvantages of 16" and 17" rims. After about 30 minutes I had all the information that I needed, but wasn't ready to order yet(not because of them, I just wasn't sure I was ready to part with nearly $2,000). For the record, the prices at Custom Automotive were about $100 more than what I was quoted at Mr. Wheel Deal(and worth every penny)!

The next 4 months were spent on other things and other expenses, so I had to save up the money for the wheels and tires, but honestly, I never even once thought about ordering from somewhere else. Dustin had put me at ease the first time I spoke with him back in the spring and I was more than comfortable ordering there. I finally order my stuff on Wednesday Aug. 31st, 2016. Dustin went back over every detail with me and even gave advice about what he thought would look better, what would be more cost effective in the long run and even discussed which size would be best for used tire availability if I was ever in a bind and needed one. I placed the order and he said they should ship out on Friday (9/2/2016). As he was reviewing every detail of the order back to me, I asked about the splined lug nuts and also about getting a few extras to mount my spare tire. I assumed those would come at an additional charge, but no, they were included. After hanging up the phone, Dustin immediately sent me a series of emails outlining the details of my order and the price total. He later emailed me thanking me for my business and telling me to be sure to inspect everything before signing off on the Fed Ex forms to ensure that there is no damage. He even went so far as to explain how the tires and rims would be wrapped and where the lug nuts will be. He also sent me a picture of a mounted up one before the sent them out. And it looks good!!

Fed Ex called the following Tuesday to let me know that the shipment would arrive on Wednesday morning(exactly 1 week after ordering. They are in Ky and I am in Oh). Keep in mind that this one week time frame also included the Labor Day weekend, which didn’t seem to slow things down at all. Prior to the weekend, my tracking number was not coming up, and was telling me that it could not be found, so I emailed Dustin. He promptly responded, from his cell phone, in the evening, and explained that it should work as soon as the weekend was over, which it did. I had arranged with Dustin to have the shipment sent to the FedEx freight location near my work, rather than ship to my house, because if it shipped directly to me, I would have to be home to take delivery, and I didn’t want to hassle with scheduling that. I was unfortunately unable to to pick everything up on Wednesday, so I got them on Thursday. They were perfectly packaged; stacked on a skid with cardboard between all 5 (I ordered a full spare as well) wheels, strapped to the skid, plastic wrapped with the box of splined lug nuts wrapped up on top. This was exactly as Dustin had described in his email.

I took them straight home and mounted them, smiling the entire time. They look phenomenal, fit exactly like I wanted and exactly as Dustin said they would, and I really couldn’t be happier. Ok, well, maybe if someone else had shelled out the money for them, but other than that…

So, if you are debating a dealer for your next set of wheels and tires, stop wasting your time and call Custom Automotive and speak with Dustin. If they aren’t the cheapest price you can find, they surely will be very close. And the little extra you might pay, is well worth the level of knowledge and the outstanding customer service you will receive. If you are having trouble understanding offset and backspacing and are trying to learn it all to figure out if a certain combo will fit or rub, stop wasting your time and just call Dustin at Custom Automotive. If you stuck with me this long, I just have one more thing to say. Stop reading reviews, stop doing research, stop stressing out, and just call Dustin at Custom Automotive!

Done a great job on a set of custom rims I couldn't find anywhere else at a reasonable price and answer any questions I had great experiences and would recommend to anyone looking for custom rims

I recently ordered a rim/tire package from these guys and worked with Dustin from start to finish. The customer service was amazing and the price was the best I was able to find. They road force balanced and used OEM tire pressure sensors, they do not cut corners and do things the right way. Dustin answered every question I had and made me feel very comfortable asking these questions I had. I will be a return customer for sure. I wish there were more companies out there like Custom Automotive. I felt my business was appreciated and that doesnt happen often now a days. Highly recommend them to anyone!

I contacted the guys at Custom Automotive while being deployed over seas. Their customer service was bar none! When the wheels I wanted were discontinued because of defect issues, They made sure I contacted them again about new ideas before they took any of my money. Furthermore, they exceeded my expectations when it came to knowledge about what would actually fit my truck. I will definitely be a return customer.

Over the course of 2 days Dustin spent almost an hour on the phone with me making sure I had the perfect wheels and tires for my truck. Never once did he make me feel like I was asking too many questions. I would never buy anywhere else even if I could find cheaper and trust me u wont. If u r looking to purchase a package don't bother looking anywhere else call these guys they r the best!!

Dustin was helpful in finding the custom wheel I needed. The prices are a whole lot better than other companies I've looked into. Further search of the site also shows their tire prices are better than any other place I've looked at, so I'll be buying tires from this company.

Called and spoke with the guys at custom auto about a wheel and tire package that was not listed, not only did they build the package I requested but they made sure to include parts I had forgotten to think of. They stayed in constant contact with me through the while ordering process all the way till they were at my door and even answered questions long after a had received them!
