We had trouble today with a component from a sliding shower door. In 2023 we ordered a shower enclosure including a sliding door and it was fitted and worked well In March 2025 one of the lower runners broke and Clifton kindly replaced it free of charge. Then this replacement broke in April 2026 and Clifton sold us a replacement at a discounted price. However we could not fit it as it was different in size and construction from the original. We took it back to Clifton but they declined to refund the cost. They explained that the part had the same code number as the original. They offered other odd spares but none fitted. We are sure the persons in the shop did all they could but they claimed that company policy was to refuse the return. They said they could not resell the returned item as the cardboard box was slightly wet, which seems petty; it does not seem reasonable to expect us to keep a small cardboard box dry in case the item they sold us was unsuitable. Prior to this our experience with Clifton has been very good, so this was disappointing,

Always had a good relationship with Clifton Bathrooms in Aintree Merseyside, which was why I returneed there again for my latest bathroom.
Will never use them again though. I found I was going to be a wall panel short eventhough they had calculated from the measureements I gave I required 8 panels when I really needed 9.
I visited there again on 27th March but didn't give me a receipt for payment or list what I had ordered. I was advised a receipt was only provided on delivery. payment. I couldn't take it with me but they said they would deliver the following Monday.
Still didn't get a receipt at delivery time , only after 3 phone calls did I finally receive it by email, which was when I saw they had charged me £55 for delivery.
Chased it with the manager to no avail. Who has told me thats the end of it. Didn't understand when I asked for the complaints process for escalation. Asked me to email him and he will pass it on.... I don't think.
Very underhand in their methods, its like a different company to that which I have done business with in the past. I could have collected it on that Monday probably would have cost me £5 at the most.Wont be doing business with them again...

I went into Clifton Trade Bathrooms. For a shower head. Spoke to Robbie behind the counter. I brought a good quality shower head and hose. For a bargain price. The shop is nice and clean. And well laid out. Robbie and Lewis are extremely nice and friendly people. High quality goods at reasonable prices.

The team in the Liverpool depot (near the tunnel) were fantastic, Chris and Ste were fantastic

Belinda at the Bury branch is always so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble

Fantastic service today, we visited with a vague idea of what we needed for our bathroom refit. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, there was no hard sell at all, and we never felt under pressure. For each item we wanted, the staff gave us various options based on price and quality. I would highly recommend this company, we visited the Wakefield branch, and will be returning again very soon. Thanks again for being patient with us and giving great service.

This was our second time of using Clifton’s in Blackpool on Mowbray Drive. We had no hesitation in going back to them after using them for the first time last year. Rob sorted us out both times, very friendly, professional and helpful. Explained if we needed anything else to just get in touch and kept us informed on delivery etc. We had to swap and return things which wasn’t an issue at all. Really pleased with the service and the bathroom looks great! Thanks again to Clifton’s, especially Rob! 😊

The first thing you notice at Clifton (Hartford Way Chester) is their support, friendliness and knowledge with every question asked, which gave me the confidence and resolved my problem it made the whole process so easy. Cannot recommend them enough . A place you need to visit.

My husband & I visited the Birkenhead store today, we where both absolutely clueless when it came to what we needed, we just knew we needed complete bathroom refurbishment,
A young gentleman called jamie saw us and from start to finish he guided & advised us every step of the way 😊 he was so patient with us too, his expertise was second to none.

Good quality products at very reasonable prices, there’s less choice than some suppliers, but more than enough to satisfy most requirements. The staff were very helpful, Kellie was excellent in helping us with the design and selection. Providing useful suggestions and options, working up the layout so that we ended up with a wonderful bathroom. Would definitely recommend Clifton’s and Kellie.

We bought our bathroom just before Christmas, currently having it installed now, noticed the tiles were the wrong colour, we spoke to Caitlin and explained our situation, Caitlin was absolutely exceptional helping me choosing an alternative to suit our needs, no issues changing the tiles, Caitlin and all of the team at the Seactoft store have gone above and beyond especially Caitlin, we will definitely recommend to friends and family in the future, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We bought a shower from Cliftons some time ago and had started having a problem with it getting hot. We went into the Bolton store and spoke to Anne who tried her best to get us the part we needed but because of the age of the shower she couldn't get the part. Anne showed us 3 new showers at different prices and we decided on one and Anne also recommended a few contractors for us to contact to fit the shower. The service Anne provided to us was 5 star she couldn't have been more helpful and we highly recommend the store at Bolton
