We have had no real problems with this company other than with mistimed emails otherwise all good. Our installer Grant really was exceptional in work ethic, cleanliness and politeness. Thanks again for a great job. 5 stars to you Grant..

Not a great start to becoming an EV owner… 😩

The initial arrangement and communication with the company went really well, and the EV charger and electrical box were delivered ahead of the installation.

On installation day, the majority of the work was completed as expected. However, the engineer pointed out that the company had sent the wrong electrical box. Mine was plastic, but because it was being installed internally, it needed to be metal to meet the legal requirements.

Apparently, the office had assumed the box would be installed outside because I have a garage door, despite the fact that the fuse box and all the other electrical equipment are inside the property.

To be fair, the engineer himself did a fantastic job and explained that the company would be in touch to arrange completion of the EV charger installation. I contacted them straight afterwards, and they arranged for the correct equipment to be delivered, which arrived a few days later.

The appointment to complete the installation was then booked for the following Friday. Unfortunately, on the day I received a call to say they couldn’t attend because the engineer was unwell.

Obviously, that’s something nobody can help, and another appointment was arranged for the following Friday. I made it clear that I’m due to take delivery of the car in mid-September, so I really needed the charger up and running before then.

Fast forward to today — the following Monday — and I’ve just had another call to say they need the same engineer to return because he was the one who started the original installation. As a result, the installation has now been pushed back to 21 September.

I’m not really sure what would happen if that engineer decided to leave the company! 😂

It’s just really inconvenient and disappointing, especially when the initial installation went so well.

When the engineer was here, he mentioned that this particular mix-up had apparently happened several times the previous week. He even said he was going to suggest that the company start carrying the correct equipment in their vans to avoid this happening again.

So, not exactly the smoothest start to EV ownership… 🚗⚡️

Hopefully, it gets sorted on the 21st!

Grant drove over 2 hours each way to install our EV charger and was polite and friendly throughout the really professional job, left everything clean and tidy, and helped us set up the charger and get us going. Thanks again Grant!

Our installer was excellent. Lovely polite guy who undertook the task in a timely manner. We were unsure if the installation would be around the house or underground & the installer was helpful in explaining option & timelines for both. I requested a slightly different location & the installer very helpfully made it happen within budget. The works were done to a high standard & all mess cleaned up. Aftercare instructions covered & a test charge undertook. He kept me up to date at all stages. Thanks again Grant, much appreciated!

Grant was our installation engineer and was superb throughout. He discussed cabling routes and worked professionally and efficiently. Once complete, he guided me through the EV charging app, making sure I had the right controls in place to prevent any tampering or misuse. Grant is a credit to your organisation.

Grant arrived, went through the process and gave opportunity to ask questions and consider the best way to run the cables and fit the charge point. He was thoroughly professional at all times. He communicated throughout and even cleaned up. Totally sound experience and left us with a great experience. Thank you

⭐️ Review for Grant – EV Charger Installation

Grant recently installed my new EV charger and I honestly couldn’t recommend him more highly.

From the outset he was professional, clear and straightforward. Communication was excellent, he turned up exactly when he said he would, and the whole installation was carried out efficiently and to a very high standard.

He took the time to explain everything properly, made sure the setup was working perfectly before leaving, and left the area clean and tidy. The finish is neat and well thought through — you can tell he takes real pride in his work.

Top job, top guy

We had an OHME EV charger installed by a gentleman named Bart. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about electrical safety and how important it is to ensure everything was done absolutely correctly.
He worked methodically, cleanly and very efficiently. His attention to detail and his manners towards us was refreshing, a real tradesman who cared about the end result.
I would highly recommended this firm and in my first hand experience I'd highly recommend Bart.

Massive respect to Andrew for driving 2.5hrs to complete a fairly quick fix of a faulty component. All to accommodate my need for a weekend appointment. Great service all round 👍🏻

A special mention for Bart, who provided support with the portal from a remote location, just to double check that the Ohme device was functioning correctly. The extra mile as we didn’t have a way of checking on site. Top job, guys 👍🏻

I was frustrated early this morning weekend but little did i know an angle was on the way. Steve gave me a speed lightening response today.
My light is up again. I call him the weekend angel.
Today would have been hurrible if Steve didnt come. Staying 2 days without light would be hurrific. Thanks steve.

Andy has been great at doing the repairs. Staff is really helpful. My issues are solved. Great Customer Experience. Well done!!!!
