The hotel had no problem taking my money immediately, but apparently has a serious problem returning it.

I cancelled my reservation within the free cancellation period on the same day the payment was taken. Ten days later, I still have no refund and no information about when it will be made.

Holding a customer's money without any meaningful communication is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The room was unbearably hot throughout the night, and the air conditioning simply did not work. Despite trying to adjust the controls, there was no cooling at all. The temperature in the room made it almost impossible to sleep.

The heat affected us so badly that we had to take cold showers twice during the night just to cool down enough to try and get some rest. In the end, we gave up and left the hotel just before 8:00 a.m. because we couldn’t stay in the room any longer.

When we checked out, I explained to the member of staff how unhappy we were and described the issues with the room. Unfortunately, the response felt dismissive, with little acknowledgement of the impact it had on our stay.

What has been even more disappointing is what happened afterwards. I spoke to customer services during the trip, sent a formal email of complaint after our stay, and also completed your own customer review form. Despite all of these attempts to raise the issue, I have received no response whatsoever.

It’s not just the poor night’s sleep that’s disappointing—it’s the complete lack of customer service afterwards. Ignoring genuine complaints is simply not good enough, especially when guests have made every effort to resolve the issue through the proper channels.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but based on both the experience and the complete lack of communication afterwards, I cannot recommend staying here.

Really really annoyed. Booking.com said I can cancel for free so I did but Cromwell took the money and refuse to give me a refund even though it’s within the guidelines. Avoid this hotel!!

Stupidly, I have booked a room in this hotel inspite of there disappointing reviews.

Try to avoid this Hotel,

It is the worst hotel , I have see.
After Booking a room 3 month in advance, the canceled the booking near the date .
And all they do they send email saying that I have cancelled the booking.

They cancelled my booking and they advertised the rooms on higher prices.

A very bad cheating .

And when I try to call , they don't answer the phone and put me on hold for hours .

Now I have to book an expensive room because of short notice .

Well, the photos are of a hotel that was not the one I stayed in. It was having reno I think. The staff at the desk was super nice and helpful. The customer service is horrible. I became ill and checked out a day early. The staff said it was fine, no problem and I would get a refund from booking.com. Once I was home, there was no contact. They would not even resolve the issue with booking.com. I managed an international call once. Was told no one was in, then every time I called back no one answered the phone.
