Definatly a no brainer if your shooting in warmer climates. With this ventilation on the coat it makes shooting more comfortable. I can definatly feel the difference with the ventilation in my coat.

ventilation helps keep you cool I don't use it in the summer much but even in the winter shooting indoors it gets a little warm

Very well made - panels are cut to fit well - venting material is durable - coat still feels "stiff" when strapped up. I shoot in the greater LA area - like the venting for hot weather - still can wear a sweatshirt under it for colder weather.

I would recommend having the ventilation panels put in. It will make a big difference in cooling during hot days of summer. The vents will take some stiffness out of the shooting jacket, but not too much.

Ventilation is a MUST HAVE in a shooting jacket. Wish they offered ordering a zipper up the two sides!
