My complaint is about the booking process and their customer service. I feel they were more concerned about getting the booking versus explaining to the customer the risks of booking a non guaranteed departure tour. We decided to book a tour to align with the end of an existing 2.5 month trip as the dates lined up perfectly. I wasn’t overly concerned at the time that the deposit was non-refundable, however it has now become an issue. We are not able to book our flights and take advantage of seat sales as it is not a guaranteed booking and they are unable to give me any indication on when the decision will be made to cancel the tour or not. Therefore I am held hostage due to the non-refundable deposit and may end up having to pay higher than anticipated airfare. In addition they are offering an additional discount which they will not apply to my booking since they know I can’t cancel without financial loss, therefore being penalized for booking early.
I have travelled with Globus in the past but this is my first experience with booking a non guaranteed departure and I will never do that again.
I think it would make sense that the deposit becomes non refundable once the tour is guaranteed but I strongly feel that it is very poor business practice to put customers in this position and would not recommend Globus based on this, or at least not in this circumstance.

Diarmaid, our exceptional Host and Lee, our amazing Driver made our UK tour a truly enjoyable trip. Both had a great sense of humour yet kept us on schedule and for the most part, on time.
The tour itself was great. This was our first time to the UK and we were pleased with all the places we stayed and/or stopped along the way.

The Cosmos Irish Discovery trip far surpassed my expectations, delivering an enriching and truly memorable experience from start to finish. Our accommodations were thoughtfully selected—charming hotels with warm, welcoming staff who went out of their way to ensure our comfort.

A special highlight of the journey was our exceptional tour guide, Christina. Her blend of humor, deep knowledge, and genuine care brought each destination to life. She was incredibly organized, patient, and accommodating, making everyone feel well taken care of throughout the trip.

Our driver, Andrie, was equally impressive. Navigating Ireland’s famously narrow roads with calm precision, he kept us safe and on schedule—all while radiating kindness and good cheer. His ever-present smile added a touch of joy to each day.

The itinerary struck a perfect balance between expertly guided excursions and ample free time for personal exploration and shopping. Each stop was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed, offering a rich taste of Ireland’s culture, history, and natural beauty.

Overall, this was a five-star experience—seamlessly run, beautifully curated, and filled with unforgettable moments. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to discover the magic of Ireland with ease and insight.

While the tour director had good knowledge of Ireland, his tour management skills were poor, and he was impersonal to the point where after six days, he questioned me as to whether I was getting on the right bus. Hotel check-ins were chaotic. On the final day, he admitted that it was his first tour with Cosmos, which explained some of the hiccups. Cosmos should have done a better job of training and vetting before letting him lead a tour.
I would also opt for paying more to stay closer in to town and have a few more meals and excursions included.

Cosmos is a well organized tour company.
Even in the earthquake situation in Morocco they were quick to make the necessary changes in itinerary and continue with the tour. The tour director was excellent keeping us informed and entertained and providing us with all the information that we need.

This was a really interesting tour led by a knowledgeable tour director and a good bus driver. I had long wanted to revisit Grand Canyon South Rim and to visit in particular Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park, and this tour enabled me to achieve that aim as part of a group instead of driving myself. The hotel and lodge accommodations were good and the group was welcoming to me. The tour company was helpful in most of the route selected and in the selection of excursions available.

On a personal note, we visited Snow Canyon State Park on the last day of our week-long tour, and while there were some varied colours in the rocks and landscape, I believe that the time spent there would have been better spent at Zion National Park, where we had spent insufficient time on the previous day. This would have been in line with our visits to Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, where we spent time at each place over two days.

When we visited Zion National Park on the previous day, we were told that
there was not enough time to visit the Visitor Center and the areas to the north of the Center south of Zion Lodge because of heavy traffic conditions that included a tunnel that was often blocked because of those conditions, and a road requirement for our bus to drive down the centre of this tunnel. I realize that adopting this change of route would require some extra driving time because we stayed in Best Western, St. George on the last night of the tour, so it would mean doubling back to Zion National Park. Therefore, I suggest avoiding this situation for future tours by extending the stay at Ruby's Inn near Bryce Canyon to two nights from one night, instead of staying in Best Western, St, George.
