I. was more than satisfied with the treatment and help I received . Mr Short was excellent , I arrived for my consultation very worried and left completely relieved of any concerns , the best consultant I have ever been to by far .

I couldn't be happier to have Mr Shortt as my surgeon - he is professional, highly knowledgeable, and immediately made me feel at ease. I felt able to fully trust Mr Shortt with my eyes and he has done an excellent job. I was able to discuss any questions and concerns with him e.g. I have some residual glare noticeable at night time which Mr Shortt fully explained is normal and can take a short time to settle. 'd been putting off cataract surgery for nearly a year even though my vision was blurred and I was having to use increasingly stronger glasses but I was just too scared to contemplate eye surgery. When I finally bit the bullet and underwent cataract removal with Dr shortt I was amazed at how quick and totally painless it was. If I had known it was going to be so easy I never would have delayed treatment. Now my vision is excellent, I no longer need glasses and the recovery was superquick - I'm totally elated with the results!

I met Mr Alex Shortt for a consultation for lens replacement surgery, he was friendly very informative and answered any questions I had regarding the procedure without making me feel rushed. I had been to a different company previously for a consultation but was not impressed.I am now waiting for my procedure later this month with Optegra as all the staff from the moment you walk in the door are friendly and wellcoming.

I only visited Optegra for the eye assessment and had a preliminary discussion with Mr Alex Shortt. I am still deciding whether to have surgery at Optegra.
I was very happy with the helpful discussion I had with Mr Alex Shortt and would not hesitate for him to do my cataract operation. (The 4 stars are for him).
However, I can not say the same for Optergra's admin staff. The communication inside the office is bad resulting in getting mixed messaged regarding appointments and what to expect. Some of the staff are rather bossy.
Also, I don't understand why is the surgery at Optegra more expensive than in other clinics in Harley street.
