Easy no fuss simply explained

Possibly the most unhelpful customer service ever, AI system is a joke, just sends you round and round in circles. This is even before you even get a quote, I wouldn't bother they are rude and unhelpful. One to avoide here I think.

Stay away from this company. I was in Egypt in December and still no one wants to pay for medical services, and in the end they even made me feel guilty. It's terrible. In Egypt, I had a slight allergy to midge bites and I went to a clinic and received help, and now this shitty company says that I am not eligible to get paid because I did not tell them that I sometimes take omeprazole (for heartburn) and co-codamol (sometimes I get leg pain from age and hard work), but they told me that if I take medication even for a headache, they cannot insure me. I think this is just idiotic, AVOID.

I took out Travel Insurance with Co Op Insurance .I was diagnosed with a serious illness and had to cancel my holiday I made a claim on my ravel policy and Co Op refused to pay out, they never do, stay away.

As a side Co Op have done their level best to try and stop me posting this review including putting pressure on me and Trust pilot!

Emma was very helpful and gave options to choose from. She provided clear explanation when the policy wording was using specialist language.
She displayed a very pleasant manner, always looking for the customer's best interest and preferences.
I was happy with the service provided and the consequent outcome.

On renewal of my dog insurance you considerably increased the premium despite the fact we had never made a claim. By visiting a comparison site I could take out a policy with you for same terms/conditions but for less money. Sadly you are rewarding new customers & nothing to retain existing customers.

The agent who dealt with my renewal query could not have been more helpful and understanding. He went out of his way to ensure that I had the right policy details, comparing renewal of existing policy with a new quote from the Co-op. It was a pleasure to encounter such a helpful and patient customer services agent.

Not able to renew online. So much faffing about through recorded messages and bots quizzing you. 5 minutes of that nonsense before you get put through to a person. Then probably one of the more expensive of the companies.

Stay away from Coop pet insurance have been with them for years first time I have thought of claiming there staff were total unhelpful will be cancelling my policy today. I will make sure that everyone knows how bad they are at renewal the price had gone up however I thought about changing and decided as I had been with them for year to stick with them.

Sadly cannot recommend the travel insurance we went for the silver package plus ski add on. We went skiing in January and unfortunately had to claim. We have chased the company every week and have not had any resolution. We are now receiving court threats from the hospital in Austria for outstanding bills. We had to pay for most things ourselves only a small payment remains that they seemingly won’t honour. Excuses are that there is an issue with who we spoke to whilst abroad - hardly our fault! A stressful situation has been made even more stressful without any support now we are home only mostly silence and an occasional email to tell us it will be dealt with but we are now four months on and no resolution. Very disappointing.
