Purchase a 500g bag
Purchase a 500g bag, small bit no descent size chunks. No the best favour light on the salt, 500g bag with 350g of small bit and 150g of dust.
Not worth the money, they need to go back to the drawing board and start again.
And all these bloody odd favours. Scratching have one favour original,
Oh! don't look at the ingredient list... a true scratching is Pork rind and salt.. no favouring and other chemicals .

Received two 500g bags of original, really disappointed, small pieces not particularly crunchy if anything a bit stale tasting. Even the dog left them !!
Not for me.

Thank you so much! We love hearing that you’re regular Cool Hog customers, and it sounds like the big jar of scratchings doesn’t stand much of a chance in your house 😂
So glad you’re enjoying the flavour and the sweets too, and it’s great to hear you’re making use of the jars afterwards. Thanks for the continued support — we really appreciate it!

Nostalgia in a jar
These are hands down some of the best pork scratchings I’ve had in years. The original flavour is spot on, with a great balance of seasoning, plenty of crunch, and just the right amount of crispy fat.
What really makes them special for me is the nostalgia. They instantly reminded me of the pork scratchings my grandad used to buy from our local butcher when I was a little kid. That proper old-fashioned flavour is hard to find these days, but Cool Hog has absolutely nailed it.
The 500g jar is fantastic value and keeps them fresh, though I have to admit it’s very difficult not to keep reaching for “just one more”! I’ll definitely be buying these again.

Thank you so much for such a lovely review! This genuinely means a lot to us, especially hearing that the original flavour brought back memories of the scratchings your grandad used to get from the local butcher. That’s exactly the kind of old-fashioned flavour we’re trying to capture ❤️
Thanks again for your support and for taking the time to write such a brilliant review.

Nothing like black country pork…
Nothing like black country pork scratchings at all. More like a cross between pork crunch and proper scratchings. The pieces are too small, no nice big bits, the rind is bubbly like a pork crunch. Disappointed.

Very good service and taste
Easy ordering and quick delivery along with good communication. The product, I went for the original flavour, I am thoroughly enjoying eating them. They are well packaged and just the right texture, if that's the correct word, crunchy but not teeth shattering like some similar products on the market.

Last few orders not good at all
Been getting the original flavour know for around 2 years and we're excellent but unfortunately the last 2 orders have been very disappointing the second to last order i gave the benefit of doubt so ordered again and they aren't the same they have no colour to them like they used to and hardly any flavour except salty and kind of taste stale. And I've just put the last 2 500g bags in the bin they where that bad 👎

Have always enjoyed cool hog pork…
Have always enjoyed cool hog pork scratchings first and foremost, particularly the garlic and salt and vinegar flavoured ones.
On my last delivery I was sent a bag of garlic scratchings and it was a bag full of tiny pieces, I gave them the benefit of the doubt as like I say I’ve never had a problem before that.
This time on I’d opened a fresh bag and starting eating and chewed down on a huge bit of bone im saying like 3/4 cm2 bit of bone and have had to visit the dentist as it cracked abit of my tooth. I realise n the packaging it says it may contain bone fragments, this wasn’t a fragment it was more like a pigs full femur.
Having emailed them to tell them I wasn’t happy I just got told they may contain bone, and good luck at the dentist.
Terrible customer service

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're very sorry to hear about your experience and that you damaged your tooth.
As pork scratchings are a natural product, there is an inherent risk that they may contain bone. For this reason, we clearly include a warning on the ingredient label advising customers that the product may contain bone fragments. While every effort is made during production to minimise this risk, it cannot be completely eliminated.
We genuinely value your feedback and will continue to review our processes to ensure we're providing the best possible experience for our customers.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review!
We're glad to hear you still enjoyed the quality of the scratchings. As they're a natural product, the size can vary from bag to bag, so some batches may contain smaller pieces than others.
We really appreciate your feedback and hope to see you back again soon!

I incorrectly ordered the wrong bags
I incorrectly ordered the wrong bags, not suitable for my meal plan, I hadn't read the ingredients (my fault), I thought that there would be no flour or soya, vegitable hydrolised oil. I Appreciate not everyone needs to think about that. I emailed support and within a short timeframe, my order was updated. Ordered 6 bags of original which said suitable for Carnivore diet on a random post I had read elsewhere. They aren't but nevermind. They arrived the next day and my wife loves them. Nice product, well packaged, fresh and tasty. I will have to wait for just the raw scratchings, salt and pepper only before I can enjoy them. Lovely, friendly staff. Great service.

Not very clear or honest
Be wary, ordered a mystery box on their site labelled 'pork scratching mystery box's, when it arrived it was 3 bags of pork crunch (which I don't like and are also much much cheaper) and one bag of actual pork scratchings. Listing advertised exclusive and unreleased flavours yet I got the bog standard flavours. They drew me in with big promises on the product page and I was met with nothing but disappointment the moment I opened the box. They only get 2 stars because the one bag of scratching I do have, is very nice.
