Beware! Their business model is really deceptive. I used Convert2 for a one-off operation to shrink one PDF file, for 95 cents. That worked really well and I'm happy to pay the 95 cents .... But then a few days later an additional credit card charge of $49.90 showed up for a 'subscription' I didn't realize I'd signed up for!

Technically, it's possible I 'agreed' to that 'subscription', but I honestly don't recall doing so. In any case by email they told me they would cancel my 'subscription' and reverse the $49.90 charge ... but, so far, that has not happened. I'm still disputing.

BEWARE!

I converted to a pdf, paid$0.95 then an attempt to charge me $49.90 was made. I was alerted by the credit card company. After contacting Convert2 I was assured that payment and any future payments are cancelled(received in writing by email). Then- wait for it- the next day they attempted to charge again. I can only conclude this is a devious business that’s not to be trusted. Avoid them!

Convert-2.io advertises a free trial but provides no confirmation, no reminder, and no warning before charging. They began billing abut $56 USD per month without my knowledge. I discovered this months later after they had taken over $400 USD, despite the fact that I never used the service.

There were no invoices and no billing emails. Customer support is difficult to find and only refunded one month, presenting it as a goodwill gesture. This business model appears designed to profit from customers not noticing recurring charges. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

I just to update that Trustpilpt is trying to deleat my previous review, stating that the company has challenged my review. It's funny that they reach out and complain to Trustpilot. But the never once tried to reach out to me directly, even after I submitted thier contact form on their website. Something is fishy about all this and I wanna get to the bottom of it. I have contacted the AG in Las Vegas NV, where Convert2 does business, but the AG has declined to prosecute for now citing jurisdiction. I was referred to the State's consumer protection division and will follow-up with this review once i have done so. I am a legit reviewer despite the pushback. When business are engaging in illegal activities I am a persistent thorn that can't be removed. God bless all.

il sito è indubbiamente una truffa, prendono 0,50 solo per farsi dare i nostri dati e tentare ad oltranza altri pagamenti la CE e i circuiti pricipali bloccano, ma non sanno se i dati che hanno si possono usare su altri circuiti meno sicuri

Pessimo. Truffa.
Non fidatevi 0,50€ e poi il giorno dopo vi addebitano 47,90€

Vorrei dare zero stelle, ma non è possibile, sono dei ladri. Ieri 3 Marzo 2025 ho convertito un file in ESP pagando quanto era scritto sul sito, cioè € 0,50, poi oggi 4 Marzo mi hanno addebitato sulla mia PostePay altre € 47,90 che non so cosa siano. Per fortuna che ho pagato con la carta ricaribile e più di così non son riusciti a prendermi. Fate attenzione.

Truffatori autorizzati 47.90 senza aver sottoscritto niente

Postepay paga 47,90 HPY convert.io 2 Madrid. Non ho mai fatto nessun contratto!Poste Italiane sicurezza pessima!

La banca mi ha bloccato la carta sostenendo che è un sito che preleva soldi senza autorizzazione una volta ricevuti i dati della carta. Ho dovuto rifare la carta . Fortunatamente è stato riconosciuto dalla banca come sito non sicuro

Vi scrivo perché in data 17 dicembre 2024, ho pagato 0,50 centesimi per la conversione di un file sul sito in questione
Mi sono stati prelevati i cinquanta centesimi e non ho sottoscritto nessun contrattato.
A oggi, 18 dicembre 2024 mi sono stati indebitamente prelevati 47,90 euro per un abbonamento che non ho mai sottoscritto.

Chiedo il completo rimborso.

Was immer ein unverbindliches Abo heißen soll. In den AGB steht von "unverbindlich" jedenfalls nichts mehr.
