Thanks for getting in touch, and I'm sorry we couldn't reach an outcome that worked for you.

To explain our position: we're unable to accept returns on orders once they've been opened. This policy came about after we accepted three returns that turned out not to be our products. All of our stock is security marked before it leaves us — of those three returns, one had been opened and two were not from our store at all. Unfortunately, that experience left us with no choice but to refuse any product that has been opened.

On pricing, this industry is dictated by what we're able to source goods for. Our margins are very small, and when we manage to buy stock cheaper we pass that discount straight on to our customers. We don't place time limits on purchases, and as a collector you'll know this market fluctuates and depreciates — we simply try to pass on savings whenever we can rather than hold prices artificially high.

Regarding communication, I did reply to you consistently throughout, and explained at each stage that I was waiting for the product to be checked before we could make a decision.

Hi, we are sorry for the confusion and delay with your order. Due to the size of the parcel, it was sent manually through Royal Mail rather than through our usual shipping system. Unfortunately, the incorrect postage size was applied by Royal Mail staff, which caused the delay and the additional £4.99 charge. Because it was sent outside our usual system, the tracking did not automatically connect to your order, so the Shop app continued to show it as being prepared.

As soon as you contacted us and we became aware of the issue, we refunded the £4.99 charge in full, along with an additional £15 as an apology for the delay. Royal Mail has also agreed to reimburse us for its error.

We are a small team and occasionally an update can be missed, but your order had been dispatched and was not left waiting to be sent. We always take responsibility when something goes wrong and do everything we can to put it right. We apologise again for the inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your response.

Your item was dispatched while we were changing shipping providers, which we explained to you. Unfortunately, a small number of orders were affected and not delivered. We worked directly with each customer to resolve the issue, and every affected order has now been refunded or replaced.

We also sent a detailed email explaining what had happened and confirmed that, should the original goods still arrive, you could keep them at no charge.

It is disappointing that your review suggests no correspondence was received, as we replied to your emails and issued your refund as soon as the delivery issue was identified.

Hi Christopher,

As stated, TCG products can be easily tampered with after delivery. Unless you have received the wrong item, we are unable to accept a return.

We asked you to provide a photograph confirming that the item remains unopened before returning it to us. Due to the high level of return fraud within the trading card industry, change of mind returns are not accepted by retailers in this sector.
