I'm very happy about having joined the Senior Dev program.

The first improvement that became immediately apparent was my mindset (which the course gives great importance to); while the recent changes in the tech world had left me quite lost and disoriented, after going through the Mindset chapters, I felt much more confident and my mind was a lot clearer - I was able to hone in on my skills and take stock of my previous and current experience.

The course content is well crafted, and constantly updated to stay current, and it made me quickly realise where my gaps where, so that I could start solving them and improve my skills and mental models. I'm still progressing through the different chapters and keep learning new stuff. I very much love the ones that focus on the job search, as they contained a lot of details and approaches I had not thought about.

Lastly, the calls are extremely helpful and packed with solid, personalised advice. Bogdan and Dragos are always willing to dive deep into the details and provide guidance, both about strictly technical topics and more general job search.

Even though I was already in a relatively senior role, I realise I had never quite switched to actually thinking and feeling like a senior, but the course has been/is being a massive help to push me in that direction. The way I approach my work now feels very different, and this change has been noticed by colleagues and leadership as well.

I've been a member of Software Mastery for a while now, and it's honestly one of the few resources I keep coming back to. When I need a refresher, I always refer to it as my top resource. The recent updates to the Fundamentals and AI sections were awesome - they gave me a genuinely useful refresher even after all this time.

What's helped me most has been the shift toward senior-level thinking - learning to reason through tradeoffs and architecture instead of just writing code.

The fundamentals are taught so well that everything else just clicks faster, and the AI engineering content is top notch, keeping me up to date as the field moves fast. I used this course several years ago, and it was unquestionably a great investment.
My knowledge, skills and confidence improved massively, and I would recommend it without hesitation. I was skeptical at first but it turned out to be unfounded. These guys are legit and totally committed to helping you level up.

Bogdan and Dragos really know their stuff. The most valuable part of the course is the regular calls and getting feedback in the community.
Being able to bring a complex problem and a bunch of questions, discuss it with others, and then understand the problem deeply (not just at a technical level) is incredible. It's also fun, because others are on the same journey.

I can't overstate the value, in this software engineering game, of a community of likeminded individuals plus great mentoring and teaching, and that is what you're paying for here. Yes, you can theoretically get all the information yourself online - but it just doesn't compare.

They're also genuinely committed to making the course as good as it can be - I had one piece of negative feedback for them previously, which was that their time estimates were wrong, and they've since updated it. Overall, highly recommended.

I’ve really enjoy the programme so far. Bogdan and Dragos are both very helpful and always willing to give guidance, advice and tips.

The modules are kept up to date including recently the new themes surrounding AI, which makes it very relevant in today’s climate.

There is a lot to learn from full stack thinking, End to End Delivery to Software Architecture and more just to mention a few.

This program has become my go-to program to get up to speed on full-stack JS fundamentals. It's more important now, more than ever, to really solidify your knowledge, practice your engineering skills, find community and a have a compass, pointing you in the right direction on how to grow and improve as a solid senior engineer and this is where I have found all those things.

I joined theSeniorDev program around March this year, and within only a few months, I can notice how being part of the community has changed the way I approach Software Development. The program is rather exhaustive, they give you 14 days refund policy during which you can see other "students" who signed up in the previous months actually getting jobs.
The program is divided in modules, each module takes 1-4 weeks depending how much time you dedicate and your previous level. Modules include frontend, backend, fullstack thinking, end-to-end delivery, job hunting, etc.
You'll get life long learnings, especially in the job hunting module where specific tools, tips, and insights make the whole difference.
Re communication you have two main channels, the forum and the various group weekly calls.
You def has some gems in the program, worth taking, especially if you think the bump up in salary will be at least as high as the cost of the program. Which I have seen work very well for many students.
Last but not least, it's not a silver bullet solution, you will have to dedicate time and effort, job hunting is mostly hardcore hustling, and learning new tech skills is mostly what you already know how to do but in a slightly different format.

After years of feeling stuck, this program helped me land my first senior engineer role & be able to hit the ground running. I think one of the most important parts is the focus on teaching you ways of thinking and approaching engineering like a senior (and applying what you learn). The program offers a huge amount of resources and knowledge-sharing, but Bogdan and Dragos helped to tailor the plan to my specific career goals so I could navigate it all in the most efficient way.

Dragos and Bogdan have been helpful with giving direction and guiding learners through their curriculum.
