The Jenkin Jones (No 5) Decaf coffee is excellent with a rich and chocolatey taste. Highly recommended. Coaltown also deliver quickly in robust packaging.

My absolute favourite coffee
Once I discovered this coffee, I never turned back. I drink two cups a day and this is the only coffee I drink. I even sometimes take a container with me if I'm on the go so that I don't have to buy coffee while I'm out.
I've found the price to be reasonable for the product and the flavours are superb.
The only reason why I'm taking off a star is because Royal Mail is a nightmare. For the past 3 orders, my order has either been weeks late and/or they constantly say that I'm not in, even when I am.

It was easy to order online and arrived right on time. I bought this as a gift for a typically laconic, particular and coffee-loving friend. He wrote to me today, saying, 'It’s very good! Dark and strong (in my espresso pot anyway). Thank you so much!' The use of the word 'very' with exclamation marks says it all. I'm really pleased.

Coaltown workshops
Today I attended two workshops at Coaltown led by Alysha.
The day definitely exceeded my expectations! Alysha's depth of knowledge and genuine passion for coffee truly stood out and her approachable teaching style made it such a genuinely lush day.
I came away with a clearer understanding of coffee as a craft, along with practical tips to help me achieve consistent results.
Alyshas clear guidance and encouragement has given me the confidence I needed in order to refine my technique further.
I would highly recommend the workshops ☕️🥰

Outstanding coffee
Outstanding coffee with above and beyond customer service. I ordered some coffee because it is one of the best coffees around. However this packet I wanted for a birthday gift. I explained this yesterday in an email and today I have the coffee in my hands due to outstanding customer service. Get your coffee and taste the care a love this company is putting into their product.

Fantastic Single Origin Speciality Coffee
I'm really into speciality coffee, and have been meaning to try out Coaltown for some time now. Well I eventually did, and I'm so glad I did! Their single origin coffee's (that I've tried so far) are fantastic and I'm really enjoying brewing them on a morning in my V60. The others are in the freezer, frozen ten days off roast, and I'm sure they'll be just as excellent as the first two I've had! I'll certainly be coming back for more!
