We discovered Coaltown coffee a few years ago whilst on holiday near Ammanford, and have continued to either revisit or mail order since. Great coffee and great service both in the cafe and online.

The Jenkin Jones (No 5) Decaf coffee is excellent with a rich and chocolatey taste. Highly recommended. Coaltown also deliver quickly in robust packaging.

Exactly the kind of coffee you buy as a treat
I bought Black Gold No.3 as a birthday treat to myself and it delivered.
I brew it in a Moka pot with fresh organic whole milk most mornings. There’s a definite biscuit-chocolate thing going on, and it’s smooth without tipping into bitterness or heaviness.
It’s become part of my morning ritual — the coffee I actually look forward to rather than just drink. No hype, no gimmicks. Just very good coffee. I’ll be ordering it again.

Coffee is great but on this occasion…
Coffee is great but on this occasion the delivery from Royal Mail was frustrating! No tracking meant 3 days at home waiting for a delivery. Won’t stop me ordering again but I’ll probably collect like previous orders.

The Bourbon barrel infused coffee absolutely exceeded all my expectations of a Christmas coffee blend. The taste and aroma have a high end quality that I have never experienced before as the luxuriant aroma hits you as soon as you open the package. 📦 Please consider this as an all year blend as I am hooked!
