Club Pilates cares only about money and sales, not their customers.
Club Pilates Markham - 3 Months In.
I joined Club Pilates in Markham in January 2026. I was nervous at first but the instructors explain everything really well and ensure form and position are correct. I do on average 4 classes a week and have lost 20lbs in three months. Overall I feel much stronger, my back pain is gone now that my core is stronger, my butt is lifted....it's quite cute and round and my posture is better as well. I can hold a plank longer than I ever thought I would be able to and my mind and mood is significantly better when I do a class in the morning. I would highly recommend this place. It is expensive...that's the only negative comment I have.
Generic experience. Horrible policies and contracts
The classes are super basic and not very challenging. Now that the market is becoming more saturated with Pilates options I would rank this one as last. In addition, the snottiness of which they treat customers that have signed on to huge contracts is a pretty negative experience they act like this is a unique one on one studio and that you should be very lucky to be given the privilege to work out there. I would not recommend using this. It might be OK to get your feet wet and understanding the reformer, but don’t expect to see any big results out of their cookie cutter, boring classes.
Club Pilates on Sparkleberry Road does…
Club Pilates on Sparkleberry Road does not care about customer experience. Nancy the owner is a thief. When I visited the center I paid for 4 classes. I was told by Nancy, I could decide after the 4 classes if I wanted to join as a member. Not only did Nancy charge me for a class I did not attend, she also charge me for 4 additional classes I did not give consent. Nancy does not care about the experience of her customers. I told her I would not be able to attend any of the additional classes however, the problem belonged to me because she had already stolen my money and was not going to return it to me. There are so may other Pilates studios that a person can attend. If you do decide to become a member, do not listen to what the person is saying read, read, read. You will see verbal words and written words do not match. Horrible place!!!
Club Pilates Lacks Accountability
I’m very disappointed with how Club Pilates handled our situation. One of their staff members told us that my wife could take 4 classes per month through UnitedHealthcare’s Renew Active program. Based on that information, we chose the Renew Active Healthcare Supplement plan from UHC plan that is now costing us extra money each month.
After enrolling, the studio informed us that they actually don’t accept Renew Active and said there was nothing they could do. This wasn’t a small misunderstanding — it directly influenced a major financial decision.
Businesses make mistakes, but when incorrect information leads a customer to spend more on a health plan, there should be accountability and a reasonable remedy. Unfortunately, we were offered none.
Club PIlates
Club PIlates - classes start 5 min late - then do 10 min of footwork with ultra light resistance as a warmup, then start 'exercising' 30 seconds of movement and 1 minute of rest/or waiting for intsruction (so about 10 min or less of total exercising, then 10 minute cooldown of assisted leg movements, and class is over. 'Teachers/instructors' never actually teach anything in a group class - they recite and members are supposed to follow along like 'simon says'. Every class is so limited by insurance rules that all classes at all levels are basic intros to neutered and clubified pilates and good luck getting a workout from the 30 seconds of work and 1 min of rest - which ends up being less than 10 minutes of exercise for the 45 minute class.
Monthly unlimited is not unlimited, you cannot do as many classes as you want. You also need to book 3-5 weeks in advance for any class that is worth going to because everyone knows who are the legit teachers. Waitlists do not work. Instructors and managers will tell you they do - but they have never tried it themselves. Yes there are many open spaces in each class because of no-shows, but the app will always show them as full.
Total scam business
Total scam business. Great difficulty cancelling. Constant management turnover. Predatory business practices. Poor communication, never open, limited classes, and always closed. Charged $623.00 for 5 sessions. Suffered a documented health issue, provided documentation and they still continued to charge my card and not return call.
I’ve had a very frustrating experience…
I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Club Pilates in Palm Coast and feel it’s important to share it for anyone considering a membership.
First, scheduling classes is extremely difficult. The studio only has 12 reformers available per class, which means spots fill up quickly and it becomes nearly impossible to get into classes that work with a normal schedule. For a membership-based studio, there should be better availability or a more reliable way for members to access the classes they’re paying for.
Another issue is the constant turnover in management. It feels like management changes frequently, and with each change the communication and policies seem to shift. This lack of consistency makes it hard to resolve issues or get clear answers when problems arise.
My biggest concern, however, is the cancellation policy and how it was handled in my situation. I am on call for work, and when I signed up I specifically explained that I may occasionally need to cancel last minute because of my job. I was told that if this happened, I could simply call the studio and they would waive the late cancellation charge.
Unfortunately, that was not honored. Even when I called as instructed, I was still charged. When I tried to address it, the issue was not resolved. Because the charges continued despite the agreement that had been made with me, I ultimately had to shut off my card to prevent additional charges.
Overall, the experience has been disappointing. Between the difficulty scheduling classes, the frequent management changes, and the cancellation policy not being honored as promised, it has not felt like a fair or customer-focused experience.

Won't cancel membership after written request
This review is specifically about the Georgetown DC location. BEWARE before you give this business your credit card information. I'm a fan of Club Pilates and did it for years in other cities, but the management in this location has complete contempt for customers. I have a recurring membership and needed to cancel it because I moved out of state. You can't cancel on the website so I called about a month ago and was told staff can't cancel it either, only the owner himself can do it and he's apparently very unresponsive. I e-mailed requesting the cancellatiom in writing and weeks passed with no response. Finally this weekend I was charged again for my monthly membership. I've called multiple times to complain, request they process the cancellation and refund the latest charge, and management has yet to aknowledge any of those communications. Please think twice before having your credit card information kept hostage and being charged with no ability to cancel

The instructors were great when you could get a class. They oversell memberships and every class even weeks ahead are wait listed. You don’t know til the day of if you’re off the wait list makes for planning and working impossible.
At this price you should be able to attend the classes.
Cambio excesivo de profesores
Cambio excesivo de profesores. No te da tiempo a acostunbrarte y ya tienes otro profesor que dura menos de un mes
Walking into the gym
Walking into the gym, the first person you see is Caitlyn, with her big smile welcoming you into the class. Like a ray of sunshine, she's always happy. She remembers everyone's name, which I tell her is very impressive.
I love going to this gym with their array of different classes, instructors and levels.

The instructors are good. But Nothing else
The instructors are good, but the reception staff are very very pushy regarding over and I mean waaay over prices individual classes! They do not give up and frankly it destroys the enjoyment of going.
The head office do not reply to any complaints you voice. They just ignore you!!
I would not have come had I known how pushy they are. Think twice as there are plenty of Pilates places to choose from so choose wisely!
DO NOT CHOOSE CLUB PILATES!
I attended a free 30-minute Pilates…
I attended a free 30-minute Pilates class at a studio located in a small outdoor shopping mall off Davis Road in Pensacola. The space was clean, organized, and welcoming. They also had shirts and other memorabilia available for purchase.
The instructor was very to the point and did a great job explaining and guiding us through the class, which I really appreciated—especially as someone who likes clear direction.
While the regular class pricing was a bit more than I can afford right now, it was still a great experience overall. If you’re curious about Pilates and in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out.
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Pilates girl here, and a busy working mom. Their classes are always booked and have waitlists, so I was never able to get in. I originally purchased a 4 class pack, they then continued to charge me every month after that. (I still havn’t been) and I now have 12 classes to use. I had to switch credit cards so the card they had on file isn’t valid anymore. When I went to log in and see if there was any chance of booking a class this week, it says zero credits- update your payment method. WHAT A SCAM like seriously? Just taking peoples money. When you don’t even have availability for a member to go to a class, how do you continue to charge payments?! (Which are done every month without consent by the way) AVOID CLUB PILATES. Definitely go somewhere else. Horrible customer service.
I don’t usually write a negative…
I don’t usually write a negative reviews. However, BUYER BE WARE!
I bought a pre-paid package of 12 sessions for wife and she was happy with service. HOWEVER, I go to find out that I was ALSO paying $99.00 for a membership fee that was told did not apply…. But it did! When I addressed the issue I was told basically, tuff luck even though the package was frozen. So I’m out close to $700.00!! Talk about a SCAM! I feel like I now live Minnesota!
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Be aware that canceling your membership comes with fees plus extra month payment.
I canceled my membership in writing and…
Union, KY location - I canceled my membership in writing and confirmed the cancellation exactly as instructed. Despite this, my account was not canceled when it should have been, I was charged for an additional month, and my initial payment was never refunded—despite written communication indicating confirmation was required to process cancellation and refund.
The extra monthly charge was eventually reversed, but it should not have occurred at all. I am also aware of other members who canceled during the same period and received refunds, making this experience feel inconsistent and unfair.
I recommend keeping all communication in writing and reviewing cancellation terms very carefully before signing up.
