Cloud HQ was a frustrating experience from the beginning. I had tech help, who, without knowing anything about the company, suggested I use the service to transfer my emails. She got me started. It would work for maybe a few hours and quit. Person I hired restored it, it quit. Quite.A.Few.Times. It never worked. I cancelled it. And cancelled it.And Cancelled.It. Years later, it still appears on my bill, and if I don’t call my credit card company to tell them to not pay it, it goes through. I’m doing my taxes, and, damn, got me again all of last year. DON’T SIGN UP!

Fixed after support call …

I had issues using their email to PDF product. But after contacting support they fixed it. It works perfectly now.

Product just does not work. I paid $15 for saving some important emails to PDF and it did not work.
And it impossible to get them on the phone - they only allow scheduled zoom calls. Terrible support.

Works great!

I just used the download as pdf extension and it’s solid. I downloaded at least 20 files right from Google Drive to pdf on my computer. The files were all kinds of formats (html, png, doc, xls), and CloudHQ handled it like a champ in seconds. Pretty impressive!

Old review: I would give CloudHQ zero stars if that were an option. After changing jobs, I lost access to the work email tied to my CloudHQ account. I did not realize I was still being charged, but once I noticed, I reached out to cancel.

Scammers

You're locked in to paying for services you don't need. It's fine if you use their free tools, but never sign up for anything premium unless you want to pay them for life.

I wanted to say how much I hate this…

I wanted to say how much I hate this company. They are ran by a bunch of Idiots who have no clue on how to price their software to where people would want to buy it. If you only use 2 of there modules you will pay 4x what they are worth. Confusing pricing everwhere! They have 3 users for $749 but show no pricing for one user. Then then down at the bottom you can just select one user and pay $118 for premium service but does snot mention anything about apps.

Make sure you check unsubscribing!

I recall unsubscribing but clearly it didn't and it kept charging me 10 months later only to find out and unsubscribing again and checking with the team I was. They refused to refund me despite those 10 months not using it at all, and they would be able to check that. Terrible and I would not recommend them.

The charges you are referring to occurred prior to that request, and our subscription terms, which are clearly stated at signup, do not allow retroactive refunds for past billing periods. This is consistent with standard practice across subscription based software services.

We understand how easy it is for subscriptions to be overlooked, which is why cancellation can be done at any time and takes effect right away once requested. Service will issue fraudulent charges…

Service will issue fraudulent charges that are unexpected even after writing in to the company -- they refuse to do any refunds and also the support is terrible since they don't seem to understand the issue brought up in emails.

For transparency, here is what happened: You first upgraded to our All Apps plan, which includes access to all of our products at a discounted rate. Later, you also purchased a separate export subscription that was already included in the All Apps package. When you contacted us about that, we immediately refunded the higher-priced charge and ensured only the lower-priced subscription remained active.

That remaining plan is a monthly subscription that renews until canceled, which is why additional recurring charges occurred. Once you reached out about those renewals, our support team canceled the plan for you as requested.

We completely understand how duplicate coverage can happen and we are always happy to help clarify plans so customers pay only for what they actually need. If there is anything more we can do for you, please contact us again and we will be glad to assist.

Efficient solution to copy & paste

I found cloudHQ after slogging through every email, copying content into a spreadsheet for 2 years for an upcoming trial. Then my hard drive was damaged, yikes! I made a rookie mistake and failed to build a backup archive. So glad I found cloud HQ's email to sheets workflow. I looked around and tried a few other products that required either 1. programming expertise, or 2. download and transformation of emails into different file types before parsing. Once I saw the clean interface and tidy results in Google sheets, I trusted the process. Thank you!

Partial refund only & no response for over a week

I paid a total of $548 for cloudHQ services.
According to their website, there is a 15-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

I requested a refund within the allowed period.
I received only a partial refund of $249.99, and after that the company stopped responding to my emails for more than a week, despite multiple follow-ups.

Because of this, I had to open a chargeback with my credit card provider.
This was my personal experience, and I recommend users carefully verify the refund policy before purchasing.

You mentioned that some of your migrated items appeared with corrupted Hebrew filenames. This is not something we normally see in email migrations, and it is unusual behavior. Because cloudHQ does not store or access any user data at any time, we cannot view your files directly to confirm what happened. This privacy and security policy protects all customers, but it also means we rely on additional details from users when something unexpected occurs.

Save Emails to PDF - not bad at all

I have been using cloudHQ "Save Emails to PDF" for more than a year. I'm using using this tool to archive emails with real estate transactions I close.
It is quite handy. No issues so far.
Quite easy tool to use.

Cloud HQ is great

I had a large number of emails on Gmail that I wasnted to download as PDF files. This programe was easy to use and accomplished the download in a very short while. Worth every penny. Eat your heart out Google Takeout.

The products are okay

The products are okay, the support sucks. My credit card was deactivated due to a fraud alert. They didn't send me any notice. They just converted me back to a free account. I was paying under subscription $74 a month, when I went to reactivate a new card they wanted $99.00 per month which I'm not paying or renewing as it was a stretch to give them $74 to begin with. They should have sent me a notice saying-"We can't get your CC to work, please update or something..." Instead they kicked my off my subscription and raised their pricing to me... What a bunch of malarky...

Finally, their email support is slow, there is no chat support, there is no phone support. You are stuck waiting on the folks to respond to your email...

Email to Google Docs is so good!

I need to share email threads with different people on my team regarding customers and projects, and I have to explain the procedure used to do that was the most annoying in the entire world: I’d need to save certain emails as PDF, then save their attachments as PDF, import the emails to Adobe, then add new email conversations to the doc, and then share that with my co-chairs. Let me explain how many hours this took… when I say this app saves me time, I mean IT SAVES ME TIME! Now, I just click 2 buttons, and this app takes my emails and converts them into a Google Doc. The imported emails are cleanly formatted and are so easy to share with colleagues and sometimes clients, which makes collaboration so much smoother.
