We booked through Classic Holidays. The initial phone call was dealt with quickly and professionally. Easy to call back with any query. All information send by email containing details of trips, flights, transfers etc. The boat was amazing. We went for the 20's to 30's style. It was not in need of
redecoration as some reviews say. Room was spacious, clean and very comfy beds. Lovely shower. Food was great, lots of choice. Afternoon tea on deck was a nice touch. Service 5 star for waiters, bar staff and our cabin man did wonders with our towels. The atmosphere on the boat was very peaceful and sitting on deck sailing down the Nile was an unfogettable experience. The excursions were very informative and well run. Transfers to boat, airport run to Cairo were very well organised. I cannot fault this nile experience. We had a wonderful time. Thank you MS Princess and Classic Holidays

The Nile Cruise we took via Classic Holidays was absolutely brilliant.
The Classic boat we chose added to setting the scene for the cruise.
The visits that were arranged for us were amazing and well organised. Food was great and plentiful. I have ticked off 2 off my bucket list items, visiting Valley of the Kings and King Tuts tomb. Plus a sunrise ballon ride- absolutely breathtaking.

The organisation of the tour guides, the flights, transfers, everything, was superb!!!

Absolutely stunning, from the moment we left Heathrow we were met by representatives who guided us through all our transfers and accommodation stress free. The Nile cruise on board The Grand Manderin was exquisite and the inclusion of a gifted Egyptologist to take us on our excursions was the icing on the cake so a huge thanks to George Magdy our guide. The cruise ship was immaculately clean and the food superb. The second part of the holiday was spent at Fort Arabesque Resort and Spa in Makati Bay, Hurghada which was also of a high standard with a superb choice of food dishes and activities. I would recommend Classic Holidays to everyone who wants a stress free holiday and we will most certainly be using them again

We have just come back from the most memorable 2 weeks in Egypt.
Before our departure, we were a little worried, but we shouldn't have been.
Classic Holidays’ organisation was superb, from the time of booking our trip, to the moment their final transfer picked us up from our last hotel, and delivered us to the airport.
Where shall we start ?
We booked a package starting with 2 nights in Cairo, staying at the Steigenberger Pyramids hotel, and were pleasantly surprised when, on our arrival, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking the pyramids.
We then proceeded to the 1 week Nile cruise on the Royal Princess - the boat was full of character and charm, if a little dated, but immaculately clean ! The crew were most attentive and friendly, catering to our every need, helped by the fact that the boat was only half full - this made us feel like true VIPs!! On our anniversary, we had a real surprise - our cabin was very prettily decorated, and, at dinner, a lovely cake was presented to us with a complementary bottle of bubbly !! The food was at all times very good and varied .
Our tour guide, Emad, was very knowledgeable and friendly and took extra care in explaining every last detail of each site we visited - all the included excursions were very good, but we are also so pleased that, following Emad’s recommendation, we decided to have the high tea at the Old Cataract hotel, where we were also able to visit Agatha Christie’s suite, which made the whole experience even more special. The visit to Abu Simbel more than justified the early start and long journey, and we concluded the week on a spectacular balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings that we will never forget !!
We ended the holiday by spending 5 nights at the Sheraton Miramar hotel in El Gouna, and what a perfect choice that was - a beautifully landscaped, modern site with a beautiful room practically on the beach, which itself was kept tidy and had super comfy sun loungers.
The staff were kind and friendly, and the amenities were kept immaculately clean - our room was left perfect every day by our cleaner Ahmed !
The food was of a very high standard, with a lot of variety and lots of food cooked fresh in front of us while we watched. We would highly recommend, not only the resorts and activities included in the package, but also Classic Holidays themselves for their superb organisation and attention to detail.

Well organised, brilliant guides around pyramids, temples, tombs, etc.

Although we had a few issues with emails at the beginning, the staff were friendly and very helpful in resolving the problem.
The information received by email was really helpful and informative. The holiday package, guide and all organised trips went very smoothly. We would book through Classic Holidays again.

My wife and myself have recently spent 7 days cruising the Nile and visiting the sites. We sailed on the Princess Royal and whereas the decor was a little tired the experience was brilliant and our Tour Guide Hannay was brilliant . He is a wealth of knowledge and always ready to help should you need it. If i have a critisism it would be that we seemed to spend more time in dock than cruising ,But overall a wonderful experience.

From the pick up from the airport to the transfer to both hotel and boat, everything was seamless and went smoothly. We were warmly welcomed at every point. The staff amazing and went above and beyond. A truly fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Classic Holidays. Thankyou for an amazing holiday and experience.

Our guide on the ship Sam was brilliant and extremely informative.
Had so much fun at the Galabia party and met some lovely fellow travellers whom we made friends with.

great choice of food although some of the meat dishes were a little overdone but in general very nice.

What a great holiday the flights were okay with no delays the pick up at the airport was seamless. The cruise ship was brilliant. The food was good. All of the trips were excellent and planned in the right order so that each one was better than the first and our guide was amazing. Highly recommended.

Royal Princess was a superb boat with great staff, food and a very nice cabin. Our guides were brilliant and made the trip very special. Would use Classic Holidays again no question. 10/10

Experience not to be forgotten. Look for fault if you wish, but you cannot replace this trip for the people, culture, food, friends made and of course the fantastic places visited. The boat took us back in time to another era and the staff were all fantastic. As were the hotel and the couriers. Some things you just cannot buy, fault comes cheap.

Had a fabulous holiday, booked 7 nights on Royal Princess and 2 nights Hyatt Regency in Cairo. Was very happy with all the information we received before our holiday, and felt very looked after on the cruise. Enjoyed all the places we visited and our guide Hany was brilliant. Every thing was organised so well. Food on the boat was very good and so much choice. All transfers were well organised. We didn’t book out Cairo excursion with Classic and dad the grand museum ourselves. The Hyatt is a lovely hotel on a new business park so a little further away from the pyramids and wish we had of booked an extra night to have a day to relax and enjoy the facilities more.

My husband and I have just arrived back from a fantastic holiday in Egypt with Classic Holidays. It was truly a trip of a lifetime with the hotels, cruise and organisation not only living up to expectation but going way beyond. Our guide, Hany, was a highly qualified Egyptologist with years of experience. His enthusiasm and expertise was an inspiration. He was also a truly lovely person who would go out of his way to ensure that we got the very best from our trip. All the excursions were organised well, making sure that we avoided the crowds as much as possible and we saw all the sites at their best. Our boat (Royal Princess) was a delight, with Agatha Christie style glamour, great food and a wonderfully attentive crew.

This was a very different kind of holiday to one we would normally have, but it was spectacular.

On our way home, we discovered that Heathrow airport was closed. Despite it being 5am in England, my Whatsapp message to Classic Holidays was answered within 5 minutes and a rep was at Cairo airport a few minutes later to help us. The rep (Paul from Discovery) was a whirlwind of organisation and we soon had a hotel, transfers and meals for the extra night. He was at the airport the next morning to take us through security – truly outstanding service.

I cannot recommend this holiday and company highly enough. An experience we will never forget.

Whenever I had a question about the holiday it was answered quickly and comprehensively. It was refreshing to discuss things with a real person and not be directed to FAQs. The holiday arrangements worked without a hitch. We were particularly pleased with standard of accomodation and meals. Our first week was in Hurghada and second week on a Nile cruise. The cruise and tours were very well organised
and they needed to be as the famous Egypt sights are very busy but not to be missed.
