Attended the Beginner Navigation course. Had a great day and now have more confidence for getting out with the map. Chris was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

The Navigation course was really good, we covered all the basics over the day, I'm looking forward to putting the skills I learned into practice and not relying on my phone all the time. Aaron was a great instructor, he was very thorough and had a substantial knowledge of the local area. If, like me you've been hesitating and wondering whether to go, just do it, you won't regret it!

I have wanted to learn some map reading skills for ages and can honestly say this experience was spot on as an introduction. The route was just right to get some idea of how practical a map is to get you looking at your surroundings rather than blindly following a dotted line on your phone. Highly recommended and essential skill if you are a regular walker relying on your technology too much. A1 +++++

Had a great experience in the 3 person canoe. Myself my 12yo and 7yo thoroughly enjoyed. We had lots of giggles and even managed to pick a blackberry or two en route!
Chris was lovely and explained everything well. Made us rookies feel at ease. Will definitely be booking again.

Great introduction to paddleboarding session at Chesterfield Canal.

Chris took 10 of are scouts paddleboard this week and they all loved it and want to do it again soon. Chris was such a good instructor with his knowledge and experience of paddleboarding he got them all doing it in no time at all. I would fully recommend him to anyone wanting to have a go at paddleboarding l.

My sister and I had a great time paddle boarding with Chris. He was very informative and patient with us both! We would definitely recommend CJB and hope to paddle again with them.

Fantastic day. Even in the first 15 minutes I felt as though I'd learned a huge amount. Thoroughly recommend!

First time paddle boarding and really enjoyed myself. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it might be and with Chris's guidance and instruction I managed to pick it up fairly quickly and didn't fall in once. Really nice guy to be trained by and he knows his stuff!

I had a fantastic experience paddle boarding with Chris. He is very knowledgeable and his session was fun and interesting. As a beginner, I felt very safe and would definitely recommend him to others.

Chris is a great instructor, he is reliable, conscientious and empathetic. Looking for your first adventure then Chris is your man. He will keep you safe whilst educating you. That's why I employed him as a college lecturer in my outdoor sports course.
