Attended an online 2 day course for managing a sales team. Very disappointing. This course should not be delivered on line with the amount of issues on Zoom.

As part of the Professional Diploma in marketing, I took an exam with CIM and noticed there were many spelling errors, which I raised with them. This was ignored for over two months, until a large cohort of students taking a DIFFERENT exam also found multiple errors, answers in bold and repeated questions. Even after admitting the errors, CIM have refused free resits of these exams to all students, stating they would be reimbursed only if they passed! Exams are £165 each and we have already paid for a poorly written exam - we are not paying again!
At multiple points I have been gaslit by CIM, being told that they cannot check questions for errors unless I tell them which ones they were, and that having errors in exams would only affect those particular questions, not how I did in the whole exam.
When receiving official Enquiry About Results documents about the exam I undertook, have noticed that the comments about MY results in MY exam, are exact copies of how other students’ results fared in DIFFERENT exams. This process costs £75.
The matter is now with Ofqual because if I wanted to appeal, again it costs £75… for the first part of the appeal. Then the next is £150… and then finally £250.
CIM have showed a complete lack of empathy and understanding towards their students and how much stress, anxiety and frustration this has caused, so I can only ascertain that they are trying to squeeze as much money out of their students as they possibly can.
I stayed at CIM in room 13! (Should have asked for another room then) in Summer 2024. Unfortunately my clothes in this room went missing! I reported it to the staff, almost £400 of almost all new T-Shirts, Hugo Boss etc... some with tags still on and no one it seemed was really interested. I was told they would check into it, etc and get back to me, but no one did get back to me!
I had to drive back to Cookham twice in the month of Aug/Sept to try to get someone to do something about this as i couldn't get an answer on the phone when i called, to eventually be told be a manager "Although i can't prove no one has taken them, You can't prove they were actually in there can you?!" I was firmly informed on a previous visit back to try to resolve the situation that your clothes at CIM are left in drawers at YOUR OWN RISK! Not what i expect from a hotel if i am honest. They after this comment promised to check the room only after it was empty and call me back, they again never called!
Very, Very disappointed, I paid over £600 for two weeks at the hotel and could not get any interest in trying to resolve this important issue for me.
I most definitely would not ever risk staying here again.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights for a family wedding.
There was a very varied choice of food for breakfast to suit everyone. The food served after the wedding service was beautifully cooked and thoroughly enjoyable.
The staff were cheerfull, polite and very professional.
Well done to all the Moor Hall staff, a very enjoyable stay.
