My dealings again with Andy and I gather the new Owner of the business Shawano, was very good, despite the job taking longer than they initially thought, but still got the car back within the day ~ thank you
Exceptional work dealing with a rear quarter ding and scratch on the swage line. Absolutely perfect. I have previous experience and I must say the communication and quality of work is second to none. Many thanks!
I asked Chipsaway to repair some rust on my car. I was told that the rust may return 'at some point' and there is no guarantee. However what I wasn't told is that the rust could return within a year. My rust actually returned in 9 months. Had I been told this I would not have paid for the repair. Chipsaway need to be much clearer on their communication before undertaking the work. I would check before undertaking any work
I posted a review on the main Chips Away site but thought I would repeat it here for people looking for a repairs around the Guildford area.
First class service, very professional. Arrived as arranged and carried out the repair to an excellent standard. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending Andy and his team.
Odpowiedź od Chipsaway Guildford
Thanks so much for your kind comments and glad you are pleased
I contacted Andy at chips away Guildford to deal with a nasty section of lacquer peel on the rear quarter panel of my cherished Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0, metallic paint and a 16 year old Italian sports car so not by any means a "simple job"
Someone had previously attempted the job so there was an obvious area of discoloration and a colour match issue with the rest of the car.
Andy made an initial visit and quoted a very reasonable price, after getting quoted from 3 other bodyshops it turned out to be the most competitively priced so I thought I would take a chance.
The car was picked up by Andy in the morning and delivered back to me by the end of the day. The rear quarter now matches perfectly with the rest of the car with no evidence of any lacquer peel.
The door was blown in as well to ensure a good match.
I am very happy with the service, price and the quality of the work has exceeded my expectations.
I wouldn't hesitate to use chips away Guildford again, a nice easy and friendly transaction from start to finish.
Highly recommended.
