Super! Die Planung war super und Reise war irre schön, kann ich nur empfehlen!

Unglaubliche Erfahrung! Alles war sehr gut organisiert und das Team war freundlich und professionell. Die Safari war wunderschön und unvergesslich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder mit Chikaya Safaris buchen und kann sie nur weiterempfehlen!

Moritz von Chikaya Safaris hat unsere Reise nach Nambia von A-Z komplett durchgeplant und ist dabei ganz besonders auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen!
Während der Reise hat alles super gut geklappt und bei Fragen wurde uns prompt geholfen.

Very well organized from start to finish!
We did a one-week self-driving safari through Zimbabwe and had an amazing time. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with a nice balance between independence and guidance, making the experience feel adventurous yet relaxed.
Comfortable lodges, an easy-to-follow route, and great insights from the guides along the way. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Incredible! That’s the first word that comes to mind when thinking about this Safari. I would say that i am well versed when it comes to Safari but the tour the chikaya team put together for my group was unparalleled! The owners read every wish from your lips. 10/10 would recommend!

We traveled to Zambia last October with Chikaya Safaris and it was honestly one of the best trips we’ve ever done. We traveled with two jeeps and moved camps almost every day, which made the whole experience feel like a real adventure — super immersive, close to nature, and beautifully simple in the best way.

Everything was very down to earth, but still perfectly organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed, the campsites were amazing, and waking up surrounded by the African wilderness was something we’ll never forget.

What really made the trip stand out was how involved Moritz, the owner, was throughout the whole experience. The communication and organization felt very high-touch and personal — he was always close, shared detailed tips, and made sure everything ran smoothly, which made us feel looked after the entire time. Even when one of our cars had minor issues with the refrigerator at one point, it was handled quickly and smoothly without affecting the overall experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic safari that feels personal, adventurous, and truly special, I can’t recommend this enough!

Ich habe letzten Sommer meine bereits zweite Safari über Chikaya gebucht, da die erste Reise (self-drive in Simbabwe) ein bereits derartiger Erfolg war, dass ich das unbedingt wieder erleben wollte. Diesmal ging es nach Botswana wo Moritz, wie auch schon auf der ersten Reise, selbst als Ranger dabei war. Abgesehen von seinem immensen Wissen über die Tierwelt und Flora und Fauna habe ich es sehr genossen die Tage und Abende mit ihm zu verbringen. Es war sicher nicht meine letzte Reise mit Chikaya!

We went to Namibia and Moritz did a great job organizing our trip! We spent three weeks with unforgettable experiences, from the oldest (dead) trees in the Namibi Dessert, to my first time safari in the Etoscha pan. Everything went very smooth, and already looking forward to our next trip to Southern Africa! Thanks again Moritz!

Perfekte Mischung aus Abenteuer, Nervenkitzel, Entspannung und unvergesslichen Momenten! Moritz ist ein sehr zugänglicher und fachlich versierter Guide, dem nicht nur die Tiere und Natur, sondern auch die Menschen am Herzen liegen!

Chikaya Safari Company was fantastic! Communication and itinerary planning were excellent, making the whole African adventure unforgettable. We also had an amazing guiding experience with Lisa and Mo from Chikaya - knowledgable, professional, and a real highlight of the trip. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten einen Self-Camping Safari Trip mit Chikaya und es war ehrlich die beste Reise ever. Super Organisation, alles hat perfekt gepasst – von Abholung bis zu den Camps. Wir haben außerdem wahnsinnig viele Tiere gesehen (wirklich nonstop Highlights) und insgesamt war einfach alles top. Und Moritz war ein mega Guide: ruhig, kompetent (kennt sogar alle Vögel) und immer mit Plan B, falls irgendwas spontan anders laufen musste. Würde sofort wieder buchen und kann es wirklich jedem empfehlen!
