Trick you with cheap flight deals, then when you about to pay add on €100 in booking fees as your entering your card details. Avoid! Thank god we cancelled in time. Reading these other reviews, truly shocking

A total scam company that gives fake cheap flights, charges you for them then tells you that they're only "provisional" and it was your mistake. They then try to sell you different flights much more expensively.

After booking you'll get badgered on the phone none-stop telling you you need to sort out the booking. It's disgraceful.

Currently on hold to my bank to have the charges cancelled.

Okay so I managed to get our money back. These guys are real nasty bullies - they will tell you that if you don't buy an upgrade (i.e a real flight) you'll lose all your money. This is a lie.

If you get scammed by this company ring your bank and explain about the charge. It will be in "pending" in your account as they will only charge you for an actual flight. My bank couldn't cancel a pending transaction but they did issue a notice to cheapflights to either cancel or charge the amount. If they charged it then we could claim a refund...although it takes 15 days. Also they put a block on them ever charging us again.

What these scammers want you to do is buy a flight with them in panic and through bully tactics. I think it's disgraceful that this can happen - but hopefully this may help anyone who uses them like we did

Warning: Avoid booking with CHEAP FLIGHT.COM and their partner Air WAAY. It appears they are selling flights they don't actually have. Shortly after making a payment through Cheap Flight, I received a call from Air Waay travel agency, claiming there were no available seats on my return flight with Emirates Airline. The Air Waay agent, EDWARD JONES, whose accent did not seem to match Wales, made persistent attempts to provide false information and pressure me into upgrading to the Main Cabin. He even went so far as to claim that Emirates had no seats available for the flight I had booked via Cheap Flight, which directed me to the Air Waay website.
Feeling uneasy about the situation, I contacted Emirates directly and was relieved to find out they had plenty of Economy seats available for the exact dates and flight I had booked through Air Waay via Cheap Flight. However, my interaction with Edward Jones from Air Waay was nothing short of frustrating. He repeatedly told me that I didn't understand, manipulated my words, displayed rude behaviour, and seemed to employ gaslighting tactics to push me into an upgrade.
It is imperative that companies like Cheap Flight reconsider their partnerships with entities such as Air Waay, which engage in these unscrupulous practices. We need to protect consumers from such poor experiences and prevent the perpetuation of such dubious practices in the travel industry.

I have booked my ticket on Oct 10,2023 till now I did not get any confirmation. My journey date is 18 Oct 2023.I keep on mailing but no response ,even their contact info also not working. Very disappointed.

Do NOT book anything with a CheapFlyShop. They cannot honor the prices advertised. Don’t send confirmations, and when contacted are always going to “call back in an hour”. As others have included on the genuine reviews… they do say the flight can be booked at a more expensive price, doesn’t include this or that etc. When you request a refund the responses are priceless and they fail to understand or comprehend or acknowledge consumer rights You will also see 5 star reviews on this and many other websites for the company, but it’s fairly obvious they’re fake and you can tell they are all written by the same person / in the same style. If you have booked but are having difficulties simply contact your credit card company to reverse the transaction. Just don’t. Btw this may get one of those replies from their customer services team that they cut and paste into these review sites. Just don’t. Stick with the more well know and established flight companies or direct. As always if it looks too good to be true… it’s usually is.

Very disappointed, booked flights with them, awaiting my e-ticket only to find out that I had been placed on a waiting list, rather than actually having a seat. Apparently is in the terms and conditions but wasn't anywhere on my confirmation email. Wouldn't use again

Booked a ticket, paid the price requested and then half an hour later was told that the ticket I had booked was no longer available and if I wanted it, it would be another £150.00 and then when I said just refund the money, it went down to another £80.00.
Avoid this website at all costs as you cannot trust their prices or bookings.

Dishonest Company they take debit card payment and tickets are not issued. They then contact you stating flights at that price are not there and try to scam for more money. I was told flight did not include baggage so two different excuses. Now trying to recove payment.

They have transferred me to Airway.co.uk. The price was displayed. Money paid. Then some lot from TravelCrew called us to ask for 10% of the price as they couldn't confirm the tickets because they were making lame excuses about promo stuff which didn't make any sense. Avoid all of the companies. Purchase from verified retailers.

In response to negative reviews I notice Cheapflights says they are only a price comparison website and not responsible when things go wrong. However, they sent me to Airwaay when I wanted to book flights and they linked me to Travcart who wanted to charge extra. From the volume of negative reviews perhaps they should stop partnering with these companies.

I can only speak very highly of the communication and help given to me by Alex Smith in arranging my flight from London to Sydney and my return from Perth to London, which I'm going on in just over six months time. He was extremely patient and provided me with lots of options and information. Also I was immediately repaid the extra money I accidental transferred. I chose to do all my booking on the phone with Alex and not on the internet. Thank you so much Alex. I will write another review when I return from my holiday in January!

Terrible service. When booking there is no mention of what is included in the flights I.e. baggage. I called the company to check and was told there would be 23kg plus hand luggage at 7kg. After booking the flight I received a phone call to advise that the flight I had booked was currently on hold. They offered to check for alternatives including baggage and when I said about my original flight having 23kg of baggage they said no its 10kg amd the child (11 years) doesn't have any. I was not best pleased and the operator told me I was imaging that I had been told such a thing!!

My heart breaks, but I have to find the strength to write this statement. While searching for tickets on cheapflights, I found Flightcatchers to be my best option.The ticket was purchased today, 15/04/23.The purchase confirmation was sent to my email address.I noticed the luggage option was 0, which means I will not be carrying any luggage for a 30 day holiday from Manchester to Montreal.
As I was about to call them, Flightcatchers called to confirm that I will not bring any luggage. Obviously, I said no, it was a mistake. They said I would have to pay more than £200 if I had to add luggage.I said I didn't have this money.I was told I would have to pay more than £300 in cancellation fees.As a result, I have decided to go ahead with the cancellation.
The pain in my heart is making me cry. Spending all year saving money, sacrificing overtime shifts, not enjoying your family, and now facing a nightmare. The last time I bought a flight ticket was in 2018, and I don't recall having to add luggage.
Adding luggage is something you need to choose from Cheapflights, and when they transfer you to the agency's website, you can't remember whether or not you have done so.
It would be helpful if you could help me. The company is trying to charge me about half the amount I paid for the ticket. I would appreciate it if Cheapflights intervened and took action.

How the same day cancellation fees can be so expensive???

SCAM SCAM SCAM I booked a flight with them £348. I was sent fake Flight Details with no Flight number and was instructed to wait 48 hours my E ticket. I called 2 days later to enquire about the E ticket and was told to pay an extra £359. I asked for a refund and was told they will not refund my money. I immediately called my bank Halifax talked to the fraud team and they stopped payment. I don't know how these people are allowed to operate.

Scammer and liars, asking me to pay £450 extra for the flight.

SCAM SCAM SCAM I booked a flight with them . I was called 3 days later by Joey to say I had to pay £500 for the same flight on Thai Airways after taking my money an confirmation. This is not how a business works. This was wrong information . Cheapfly Shop are the worst company I’ve dealt with in all my years of travelling . Ruined my holiday plans. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
Now waiting for a refund... lets see...

I booked a flight with them . I was called 24 hours later to say I had to pay £316 more or a ticket if wanted change the date . This was wrong information . EvaAir do not charge if you have to change your return ticket. I called EvaAir they had no knowledge of my booking via CheapFlights The tickets were never confirmed. I was never informed of this . I had to chase them . Joey was particularly un helpful and would not take any responsibility. Cheap Tickets are the worst company I’ve dealt with in 50 years of travelling . Extremely unhelpful. Ruined a very special holiday. I tried to get a clear picture of why the tickets were not confirmed with the airline. But I brushed off with the “ the airline didn’t confirm “ how was I supposed to of known that . No communication from CheapFlights to inform of this . I had to chase them for me E-ticket . Which never came . I never usually leave reviews. But this service was outstandingly bad . And could ruin a holiday of a life time . With no consideration for the customers. I’m not why they were allowed to be presented on SkySkanners . A reputable website and platform.

Booked tickets for a cheap rate, even looked at the small prints but once the payment was taken, the promise will be broken!

False advertising and trapping customers by offering cheap rates. Never book with this company, you will be scammed and left with no chioce but to pay extra. Once money has been taken the payment confimation will state your tickets are yet to be confirmed, then you will have to call to confirm or it will be left unnotice. When do call they will blame you for booking cheap rates and state all different kinds of stipulations which was not mentioned during bookings.

Totally frustrated with the service, search should ban such compaines like this from appearing during customer searches.
