I too got a notice of a data breach, the letter is dated 12/31/24. What they don't say is what specific provider from my end had the data breach. I called the 866 number on the letter and the representative was rude. She referenced many providers that they service but cannot get to why they think my data was compromised or what provider was compromised. I'll wait for something from my specific provider. To me, this is just a marketing ploy for the IDX credit monitoring service--just a way to drum up business for that.

Today, 11/1/2024 I attempted to call again and was automatically disconnected with a message stating that the system is experiencing high call volume and to try again later. It’s disheartening to feel so discouraged by a system that should be there to assist providers and members such as my clients.

Change healthcare had a customer data leak. The leak happened on FEB 17, 2024. They confirmed the leak in their system on FEB 21, 2024. I WAS NOT notified of this until SEPT 3 2024. This is inexcusable that notification took so long and a cyber-criminal has had my data all this time. Types of data taken? SS#, driver lice, credit cards, medical records, insurance claims, financial and banking balance, date of birth, policy numbers and medicare numbers.
